Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
He is better than any one of our receivers.........................shit, any two for that matter......
Jackson ain't shit...people need to get off his d*ck. He had two decent, not even great, years and all of a sudden he wants to get paid like a super star? No way!
I really don't get what all the fuss about Jackson either? The guy played with a stud QB, perhaps the second best TE in the game, another pretty solid WR. And let's not talk about the backfield. Basically the guy played with weapons left and right and with one of the most prolific offensive minds in football. Fellas, this guy ain't Randy effin Moss. |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
12th, saden1 and JoeRedskin all agree - V. Jackson is not the sh**. He is not "the missing piece". Is he better than any one we have? Maybe. As 12th said, lets look at this guy with out a zillion weapons surrounding him.

Fellas, this guy ain't Randy effin Moss.
Agreed. If people bitch and whine about Haynesworth attitude, this guy is just about the same (well except that he didn't take 21 mil from the team). Throw the suspension on top of that, and the fact that SD will ask for a lot, I don't see this as a good deal (unless he gets cut). |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
guys just to let you know... I am not on the bring in VJ bandwagon.. If we add a WR I would prefer TJ.
Not impressed with Clayton nor will Antonio Bryant be healthy enough to play this year. |

Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
TJ cost nothing but a couple of $$$$ whatever any team pays him Seattle's on the hook for the rest.
|
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
agreed other than 2004 he has not made any kind of impact on the offensive attack in TB.
|
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
Javon Walker?
|
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
We are set at WR for now. TJ is probably a Viking by tomorrow.
|
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
I disagree Gus. Both our starting WRs are old especially Galloway and AA hasn't proven anything in the NFL. Devin Thomas can't beat out you or me and R. Williams is a bum. Yea Cooley is amazing and Davis is solid but I'm still worried about our pass game. McNabb makes a huge difference obviously so that helps. Like I have said all along... I trust mike shanahan

Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"

I heard 32. |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
ya, 32 about to be 33. Could be a stop gap player better than R. Williams and J. Galloway for a year or two.
|
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
I do not think we are set at WR. Our #2is an old man, and 3 and 4 have not proved anything. We may have one of the worst units in the NFL unless we get some nice surprises from rookies and unproven guys.
