Now come on. He did lead us on that touchdown drive in the first quarter after we spotted the Bears a 7-0 lead. Without that touchdown we would've lost the game. If we don't score that touchdown and Bears go up 14-0, they might not have passed at all in the second half except after they set up the play action by running repeatedly at us.
He also gave the bears the 7 points before that drive.

I'm not sure why Hall does not have 100% of the votes.

Best..Dhall,AH, Rak...all were balling yesterday.

Worst...The whole damn offense. How many times did they get the ball around the 50 and still only put up 10 points???? Our offesne is almost as bad as Chicago's

I think it is great that we won a game despite poor QB play. In the past poor QB play sank the whole ship for us.

This.

Also, in past years the D would keep the stats good, but would not get the turnovers, or hold on at the end. This year, 2 x the D has gotten a defensive score and that has been the difference in the game, and in the Colts game even though we lost, they stiffened at the end. I like this D far better than last year's.
Rogers and McIntosh have to be re-signed. They're solid.
I would sign those 2 before I give McNabb and extension.

McNabb is still the best Qb on the team so who else would you put in there besides him? Grossman?

I still would sign him to an extension but it will be nothing like what some top notch QB's are getting. The last 3 weeks he really hasn't looked that good, lots ready of balls thrown to the ground, over throws, I guess the eagles already knew that.
Best: Not trading two first-round picks for Jay Cutler
This is what Adam S. posted on his website yesterday and you are right, this would have been a disaster.

On the morning Chicago traded for Jay Cutler, Washington had framework of a deal with Denver: two 1s and two 3s for Culter. Bears topped it.

Someone might have mentioned this, but how about Anthony Armstrong's drop in the first quarter (and then Cooley right after that). That has to count among the worst.

And I mentioned it a few weeks back, but Brown still looks hurt. And when you're playing only slightly better than Heyer that's probably not a good sign. Granted it's expected that it would take him possibly a full year to get healthy but while we talk about keeping McNabb past this year...what about Brown?

Re: Redskins-Bears, Best and Worst

Armstrong's drop was absolutely inexcusable. McNabb dropped it in there perfectly. Cooley's early drop was pretty bad too.

They're gonna have to seriously evaluate Brown's health after this season. Is the hip a chronic problem or will he heal up eventually? Right now scary to say but Heyer is probably the better option.

And on McNabb's last interception, Galloway seemed to have no idea the ball was even coming his way. Where's that savvy veteran we were expecting with Galloway (for the record, DT was inactive in Carolina)

I think it's pretty clear how much his speed covered up for a remarkable lack of technique in his game. He's pretty much the anti-Derrick Mason.

We have, I believe, as many takeaways through the first 7 games this year as we did each of the last two full seasons
