Did dan lebatard beg for his dad to be on tv?? Because that dude brings nothing to ESPN hell he barely can speak
Beg? No. I will say I was strongly opposed to the idea and made it known that I thought-even though I believe his dad is a knowledgeable sports guy (and it's just an accent man, crazy offensive to say he can barely speak)-people would react very negatively to the concept and not like the idea of someone having their dad on the show. I thought it would waste a good talent in Dan LeBatard. That said though, the show has been quite successful and the camaraderie between the two popular. When I watch or listen to it, I think it's pretty solid |

Re: Around the NFL...Week 7 Style
Ok, so my friend tries to tell me some super secret news....err possibly super secret news. lol. and yes this is one of those "my friend.....informed me" comments. lol.
He said he was at FedEx Wed. night and saw "some" players walking back to the locker room from being out on the field. I stopped him right there and said "Uh, they practice at Redskins Park not FedEx" To which he said "no, sometimes, but not often, the players will be at FedEx and will practice on the field". He goes on to say RG3, Morris, possibly Hankerson, and a few others (sounded like offensive players) were returning to the locker room after their practice wearing work out cloths. ...... Now here is the my friend of a friend rumor BS... he said Cooley was walking back with them from the field to the locker room in T-shirt and shorts and sneakers as if he had worked out with them. I know not big news, but my friend seemed to believe there was something going on with Cooley being their and practicing with them. As the other players came out after their shower and changing so did Cooley in shirt and tie all dressed up. I poo pooed it off as he's probably still friends with them and decided to practice with them, OR he was there getting info for his next spot on whatever channel he works for on the news (4 I think). But in any event I told him it was interesting that he is possibly trying to keep up with the plays for perhaps sometime in the future if he's needed. |

Well, at least he went to multiple Pro Bowls and won multiple Super Bowls while he was there. If only we could develop our own players, instead of letting them dominate elsewhere. |

I think Cooley was a better super bowl MVP than Darrel Green.
