Now that is a key stat! |
Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
I have no ideal how to call this game.We looked great in preseason but the teams we played were no test, they all sucked. The 4 teams we played were a combined 4-12
How does RG3 respond, will the adrenaline be flowing too much? I can see him overthrowing receivers because he's so excited and that could be turnovers. I think the offense will score some points but I dont think the defense was tested with the shitty teams we played in preseason,so how they respond will be key.The eagles will def test us more than anyone we faced in preseason I think the game will be close, down to the last possession |
Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
RGIII always brings his best when the lights are brightest. Still can't believe anyone has any doubts about the guy.

Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
One of the....many things that have impressed me about Robert from the start has been his absolutely....Fearless attitude.
Seems unshakable. |

This seems to be aimed at me,I think theres a big difference about having doubts about a guy then what I'm saying. He is coming off surgery and hasnt taken a snap in a game, this is not like last season. To think that he wont be rusty or excited isnt doubting the guy |
Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
I just remember the ESPN special about RG3's recovery and his mother saying that God said great things are yet to come or something like that, he's going to shut a lot of doubters up this year.
|
Mine is just a predication. I most definitely want the Skins to win by 100 but I think I could see this being a upset. Any given Sunday(Monday).

You are correct! |
Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
I feel that the skins will activate Pat White for Eagles game and he will be involved in some type of gadget/wildcat play, similar to how the Jets used Brad Smith.

Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
Skins 74 - Eagles 0

0% chance that happens. |

40 points later...[/quote] I knew we'd score against New Orleans. I thought we'd get 31 and they'd get 38. But I think RG3 plays a good enough game for us to win. He just has to remember that he doesn't have to do it all by himself. Having a healthy Garçon and Davis back is going to really help this offense, an offense that I expect to be in the top 5. |

Point being that our whole team, especially offense, is on the same page, and executing efficiently. I don't see the Eagles defense as particularly better than any of the starting defenses in preseason, and putting Griffin, Morris and Garcon on the field together is going to be to much for the Eagles. If anything, I worry we get a big lead early, and then let off the gas, and the Eagles make a comeback. |
