He should come cheap. like 2 a year, somewhere around there.

Hayward that is. Dude ran a 4.46 at the combine, for an ILB, kinda fast.

Hayward, 30 in June, doesn't play much defense but is a stalwart on special teams. He racked up eight tackles on coverage units last season. Hayward's missed just five games in seven seasons. He'll also back up at the inside 'backer spot.

We don't know the price do we? It is a position we could use depth at (and ST help) even if we sign someone else.

Hopefully crossing the Redskins off their list of potential destinations. Jenkins wouldn't be enough of an upgrade to justify anything more than the minimum salary, which wouldn't be enough to sign him. And we do not need any idiots like Britt. Didn't we have enough of that with Fred Davis?
