Re: Are we a top 10 team?
Reading that, I sort of feel for the Packers fans because it seems like they are now going through what most of us have went through during times here in Washington. I remember from seasons past when we would be up against teams like New England, the hope was that we wouldn't be humiliated on a national stage. In fact I remember Joe Gibbs stating plainly that New England was the toughest team that he had ever faced in his career.
Fuck the Packers, I have enjoyed watching them suffer. fuck them with a big block of square fucking sharp cheese up the fucking ass. I would love for us to post a 50-burger on them |
Re: Are we a top 10 team?
Response to the OP. Yes we are:

Re: Are we a top 10 team?
Another one of my dumb ideas:
When TW comes back, leave Nsekhe at LT and move TW to LG. That is, if Nsekhe does as well in the next three games as he did last week. Then we would have a truly bad-ass OL. Feel free to fire away but, before you do, just imagine the inside running game we would have with that lineup.
I would wait until playoffs or must win situation. We did something similar back in the day with Joe Jacoby late in his career. We had a very menacing left side of Jim Lachey at LT and Joe Jacoby at LG. It was amazing. We also had Darrel Green returning punts. |

Re: Are we a top 10 team?
I dunno.
Dont kid yourself. We are in danger of missing the playoffs. Top whatever ratings don't mean squat if you don't make the playoffs. |

Re: Are we a top 10 team?
I never really put much stock in power rankings as I think they're pretty useless. That said, from what I've seen, I think it's time that Redskins fans as a whole start embracing the idea that this team has finally turned the corner. We seem to have a franchise quarterback on our hands, a coach that we feel pretty good about keeping around for awhile, a true GM that has been bringing in good talent, and we're seeing the results on the field. This is the first time in years that the Redskins have went to the playoffs, and the very next year, have themselves in position to go back for a second straight year. We're starting to see continuity and consistency, and yes, I DO think the Redskins can beat any team in this league.
That said, I don't think they have all the pieces needed to make a legit Super Bowl run, but they're definitely top 10 in my opinion. |
