You guys are hilarious, yes Williams has basically bet his house the Skins will lose. I totally see how you’re getting that from his comments.

Injuries are starting to creep up, he’s just looking big picture in wanting to get to the bye and heal up.
Are you calling Fake News? :)

Everyone if you took the under with Lauvao at 3 games before injured collect you winning at the window.

Def the worst move of the offseason, not addressing the giant red flag on the roster.
Saints are 1-1 and barely beat Cle at home, they aren't as good as last yr. Carolina has a very avg offense, and dallas does too. All winnable
I hope you are right but if those teams played the colts, I would pick them to all beat the colts.
Colts whopped our ass.

Incompetence.

This front office and coaching staff went into the season hoping for a miracle with Lauvao.
once a player starts breaking down, they don't ever get back to their prime.
I don't know what they expected from Shawn but they fucked up.

He hasn't played 2 full games and already needs a bye week.

I remember a game last year we had trouble with stunts, Cousins went on a long explanation in press conference about how they were brining "ETs and TEs", Cooley and Kevin (so sad they ended their show) made fun of him for that a little bit...

Don't know who to fault for having that same issue again, but that's ridiculous.

Sheehan is back with a podcast and it’s definitely worth listening to, Cooley may be back in the future, probably depends on his other obligations

You are exactly right. A good organization doesn't keep doing the same things while hoping for better results - they fix the damn problems.

The very thought that Doug Williams is whining about injuries after two games and hoping to get to our earliest possible Week Four bye without any more is ridiculous. Who are we missing that could keep us from winning? Lauvao? What happened to cause this sad state of affairs after only two games? Did the training staff run out of SpongeBob Squarepants bandaids? This stuff is pathetic.

Our RBs and WRs are thin, Lauvao is banged up along with Scherff and Williams. I think there’s some reasonable cause for concern. Doug isn’t a whiner.

Is there a coach in the league now that could lead this current roster to a playoff berth?? I can’t figure if our talent is bad or the coaching is ... one thing for sure the constant the last five years is the head coach !

It's seriously pathetic that they thought that Arie, who they already cut and Lauvao would be a suitable solution at LG. Now they're in a big mess and it'ss only the 3rd week of the season.

I don't understand why they just don't experiment w/ Trent at LG. Try it out for a few series.
So I thought this too, but were we physically manhandled or could we just not deal with the stunts? For me, I would imagine a lot of this is on Roullier and his communication at the snap. I mean obviously the Colts defensive line is a bunch of nobodies and I can't imagine them wrecking shop with a couple of Pro Bowlers on there.

The Cardinals had a damn good defensive line and we seemed to roll over it. Wondering if it was a blocking scheme issue more than a personnel issue.
I have been wondering the same thing.

This is why Cooley was so valuable.
This is going to be a tough one. Green Bay should have won last week and Minny got bailed out by a questionable roughing the passer call.

I just hope that game took a lot out of GB and we can take advantage of that.

My biggest gripe with the team is that they went away from running the ball and trying to control the clock. We don't need quick scores on this game, we need long drives that end with a TD. The best way to beat GB is to keep Rodgers on the bench.
What do you mean questionable? The NFL office said it was going to use the hit as an example of what not to do! ;)

Honestly this probably generates the best starting line. Nsekhe at LT and Trent at LG.

Seriously, I can't believe this even needs to be said.

In what universe is moving your all pro tackle to left guard the best solution?
