Re: D.J. Swearinger released
Big stretch to say DJ has more support than Jay in the locker room. In fact I’d say that’s just completely false.

Re: D.J. Swearinger released
Keep shit in-house, in the locker room, etc.
It’s like rule no 1 for a professional team when it comes to dealing with adversity. This isn’t hard to understand... |
DJ says if he plays in the Pro Bowl, he will try and wear a South Carolina uniform.

Re: D.J. Swearinger released
According to a person w knowledge of the situation, Swearinger had been instructed repeatedly during his time w Skins to stop airing criticisms of teammates or coaches, but he continued to do so. After Saturday, team felt like enough was enough.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dude, what should have happened to DJ? Cause if you didn't cut him you would have had to promote him to D coordinator next year. He would have kept on publicly undermining coaching decisions he didn't agree with. You can't have people openly and publicly undermining any chain of command. Man coverage on a 3rd and 6 isn't unreasonable. The ball would have been incomplete without the penalty. I love the guy as a player but you can't keep people who divide the locker room or players and coaches. Players have to buy in. Period. 2nd guessing is a cancer that spreads and kills teams. What other organization would put up with him? Seriously, what should have happened after multiple times of calling out players and coaches dating back to last year? Re: D.J. Swearinger released
I'm really disappointed at this move. DJ was one of our best defensive players. All he did was tell the truth about Jay Gruden and his below average coaching staff. What is so sad is we have a lot of brain dead morons on this site that thinks that this was the right move. Getting rid of DJ doesn't improve the team. It only creates another hole that will need to be fixed in the offseason.

Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
Yes I do! I think that anyone who's doing a terrible job deserves to be criticized. It doesn't matter who does it or what platform they use to do it. If Jay Gruden bum asses wanted to do something that makes a difference. He would have fired Manusky instead of releasing DJ Swearinger. All that man did was tell the truth. All this did was give me another reason to despise Gruden. |

I don't play professional football. Now answer my question. How is getting rid of arguably our best secondary player going to fix this football team? Did our team all of a sudden become better now that DJ Swearinger is gone? We just got rid of a good player but kept a bum HC and his bum ass DC. I'm done with this damn team. |
