At one level i definitely agree. And if our FO didnt have a history and culture of petty nasty rumors, i would 100 percent agree but BA especially has proven who he is time and time again. If the whole story ever comes out it won't surprise me at all to find out that TW showed incredible restraint in holding his tongue on the details of BAs pettiness.
According to Mike Lombardi, he isn’t even trying to learn from the sidelines, standing apart from the QB-coach interactions during the game.
Then maybe that is one of the reasons he's not playing. Apparently he still isn't comfortable with the play calls and the protections. |

I think he is making a point, to someone -maybe Dan Snyder- but we don't know what the end game is. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Re: What grinds your gears: Redskins edition
We should never base our attitudes/decisions/work ethics/loyalties/etc. on the worst people we know. Trent is letting down his teammates based on some beef (warranted or not) with 2 morons. This team has paid him more than enough to go see his own fucking doctor. Trent can go fuck himself. Spoiled ass bitch.

Different situation. Bell was not under contract and did not sign his franchise tag. |

Bell's decision was a longevity one. As a RB, it kinda made sense to me. In the end, I think Bell made the wrong decision but as a RB I think he did have to decide if he wanted to continue playing on 1 year contracts with no future guarantees. The Steelers were running him hard, putting a lot of wear and tear on his tires. I think if the Steelers had him touching the ball less, he would not have held out. "He touched the ball 406 times in 2017 -- 321 runs and 85 catches. Combined, the Packers' backs had 362 touches." https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/heres-a-stat-that-explains-why-even-stars-like-leveon-bell-cant-get-monster-deals/ ---------------- Trent - I dont blame him. He is 31, he has been here his entire career and now wants out of one of the worst run franchise in sports. He also has a crappy contract after this year with less than 2M guaranteed (it may even be 0 guaranteed). Trent should absolutely be holding out. Now if the Skins offered him a 4 year/15M per w like 30M guaranteed then at least the Skins are making a competitive offer. I bet if the Skins had made a competitive offer, Bruce would have leaked it by now. But I bet the Skins made a below FMV offer because of course. Trade him and move on. Thats what any normal organization would have done. Instead they are holding on like they did with Kirk for reasons that only sound logical in Bruce and Danny's head. |
