Problem with Haskins is he isn’t showing growth. Bad feet, bad accuracy and no touch on his passes.
No way he gets the entire season. As Ron said it ain't fair to the other players when the QB is playing so poorly. You think it's fair to the other wr's who are playing with a guy who can't get the job done? He really should of had 4 picks but he got bailed out by Wright.

Allen can run the offense better. I have no question about that. He at least had some really good games last year.
I agree but Ron should stfu about being fair to his players when he is throwing in the towel like a lil bitch....

You know, that shit he is doing at the end of games has a quitters mentality. I don't like it at all. It's weak and sends a bad message.

I don't think Haskins is Patrick Ramsey bad but it may get there

Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?

Anytime the head coach comes out and says "There is a cut off point" with his QB, you know the dude just isn't getting better. Same situation in Chicago happened and they were 2-0 at the time... If a QB isn't good in todays pass friendly league that's a bad sign lol

??? Patrick Ramsey was far better than Haskins has been. Hell Shane Mathews and Danny Wuerffel was too for that matter.

Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?

Keep him in all 16 games.

He came in late last season on an already-sunk ship.

This year is not going to be a win-now year and Rivera never approached it this way. If it were, we'd still have Peterson.

Let Haskins learn as much as he can...and that means learn from mistakes. He has all of the physical capabilities to be an NFL QB. His issue is in his head. This can be fixed.

Yesterday he stared down receivers and the defense made him pay for it. He and the coaches know what needs to be fixed.

Another thing that needs to be fixed is the offensive line. The sacks and fumbles aren't all on Dwayne.

We're in a full tear-down and rebuild mode. Don't expect it to be pretty on day 1.

I'm trusting our new coach to being the team back to success, but it can't be done overnight. He needs to see if Haskins is his guy or not. He might be, but we'll never find out by benching him now and destroying his career before it even gets started.

Don't forget, Peyton Manning looked like absolute trash in his rookie year, 56% comp rate with 28 INTs.

I'm not saying Haskins is Manning, but I also don't think he's one we should give up on yet. If he can eliminate his mental mistakes, he has the arm and physical attributes to be a great NFL QB. He and McLaurin could be very special together at the pro level, much like the connection they had in college.

That offense had Christian McCaffery.
