I don't understand Turner's logic. You can't be stupid being an NFL OC but I literally think he is stupid. Samuel is not strong enough to run the ball into NFL d-linemen and LB's. He ain't moving the pile. Keep him on the outside running his sweeps. I want to ask Turner what the fuck are you thinking there? Why would you risk injury to one of you wr's doing that? You have a fucking horse who is running over the Giants and you take him out.

That is the most frustrating thing. He can dial up some beautiful drives. But then the next drive he will revert right back to calling stupid shit.

He just can't stick with plays that we have a constant/real chance of actually running effectively. Or apparently realize when plays aren't working, such as the Samuel runs. I'm not against jet sweeps, but the Giants were locked in on him on run plays. We wasted I believe 5 plays on handing him the ball when it was clearly not working that game.

We are limited, we cannot withstand penalties or wasted plays. We have to be extremely efficient to have a chance of scoring.

1. We do a lot of jet sweep motion looks but havent actually ran a jet sweep play in a while (where ball gets handed off to receiver in motion)

2. I dont like the idea of running Samuel on 3rd and 3 up the middle but I dont remember if we were in empty back set or not.

If its an empty back set look, not bad thinking trying to get the Giants to match your personnel, then you have 5 guys to block 4 and Samuel just needs to pick the right lane/crease.

I think Samuel made a bad decision to cut it right were there was a lane but had 2 giant defenders closing in on that gap.

I gotta see the 3rd and 3 play again.

3. I wish Turner would call more slants to Terry, more screens, more bubbles .. the quick pass play stuff that worked okay last year.

JUST THROW TERRY FUCKING SLANTS like 5 a game

Heinike cant seem to read or trust himself on mesh concepts .. which is basic QBing 101. Got single high safety? Throw the deep ball route. Got quarters? Read and recognize and make teh quick decision to throw underneath and get 5 yards.

I hold it against him, if you determine you can't kick the FG there, at the opponent's 34 you go for it. Don't punt when the best you can reasonably expect to do is net 24 on the punt.

Two things I will never ever understand..

Kicking a FG inside the 10 regardless if it's 4 & Goal from the 10

Or Punting inside the opponents 40. Both are stupid as hell unless the game is on the line in both instances.

I don't understand this either - the slant does not exist in Turner's playbook.
