That is true, and he did get sacked 5 times this past game but 2 of those came on the final drive of the first half where he was trying to make a play, he will get better at that because he doesnt wanna keep getting hit.
OR maybe he does want to keep getting hit. Maybe he’s into that. You don’t know him |
One thing I liked that JDR did yesterday was play more 4-3 D. That’s why Hudson was more involved, it was effective against the run. We’ll need it next against Barkley.
Also played a lot of 5 men front, which is technically a return to a 3-4 D. Was quite effective, and there's nothing wrong to getting more of your best players on the field. |
I kind of find it hard to care about a post game speech that much. It seemed fine to me and run of the mill coach speak.
Doesn't matter one bit in itself. I do think it tells something about the locker room state. Not making a huge deal out of it, just thought it was telling of a coach knowing he's on the way out. |
Yeah me too. Also, Hudson immediately made some plays one way or other (solo tackle or team tackle). It made me wonder why isn't Hudson starting in the first place...
Because this coaching staff does not like to admit their mistakes. I suspect he'll become starter mid to late season when they can make it look like he's improved, rather than admit he would have been the better option week 1. |

Daron Payne was miked up last week. I love watching the videos of them being mic'd up, really gives us an inside glimpse of what's going on on the field. |
