Ron fired Del Rio to ensure he wouldn't get fired mid-season. The only guy who could serve as interim HC was Jack. It was a political firing through and through.

I bet Ron had nothing to do with that firing. I'm willing to bet that was Harris telling him somebody needed to go.

No way. What does Harris care? He's going to fire everyone on Black Monday regardless - this year is a wash for him. That move was all Ron making sure no matter how embarrassing things get, he won't be fired mid-season.
