So this idiot is trying to blame DEI hires and Biden for this crash. SPOILER ALERT: the pilots were white

Meanwhile, what has he done since inauguration:

1. Fire the head of the TSA, and the Aviation Security Advisory Committee.

2. Freeze hiring of all Air Traffic Controllers.

3. Fire 100 top FAA security officers.

Not to mention Elon making the FAA chief resign. Fucking ELON Musk is running our god damn country folks.

It’s coming out this has been a major staffing issue their during the Biden administration

So the thing to do with a short staffed ATC is to freeze hiring and fire the chief?

You serious?

For fucks sakes, they are still trying to pull bodies out of the river. Can we let people grieve and the investigation be completed before assigning blame here? Fuck the rest of the internet or politicians or anyone else. Control what we can control here. No one knows shit yet.

Who's blaming Trump up here? Trump is the only one blaming DEI and Biden for the crash. I pointed out the many FAA cuts and hiring freeze since he took office. Can't blame DEI and Biden for those things.

This asshole literally signed an executive order to find out the "damage" caused by DEI hiring.

Trump is the one blaming people without even waiting for an investigation.

I didn't mention the name Trump once, let alone say someone here blamed him. And he should keep his big fat mouth shut. Being President doesn't change what should be rules of common decency. I'm just saying, let's not jump in the mud here. Let's see where the facts land. Then have rational discussions after that point.

My Dude, here is a well cited and documented article showing the steps of 10 years that the FAA has implemented affirmative action/dei hiring practices and chased out good candidates

https://www.tracingwoodgrains.com/p/the-faas-hiring-scandal-a-quick-overview

This isn’t new, and it does cost lives. Like it or not, the most qualified people should get the job when it comes to air traffic controllers. You disagree?

Trump is right and the criticism is well documented in the article

Even assuming DEI is 100% to blame, which no one knows yet, a little more than 24 hours after dozens of American's lost their lives and their families' lives are tragically changed forever, it still is not the time to bring it up.

The America I love is a band of brothers/sisters, especially during times of tragedy. Where we are now is a fucking embarrassment.

You don’t live in America. America 7/4/1776 to 1/20/2025.

We are in Trumpinstan now or UST- United States of Trump or Trumperica.

That’s what the majority voted for. Well just have deal with the shit for 4 years. There will be no sympathy from me, when the negative aspects of what many think will happen from Trump’s actions/policies; affects those voters also. I’ll just laugh at them. You voted it, so deal with it. They told you what he will do if elected. It’s on you if you didn’t look into it or didn’t think he would do what he said. Also, you believed him; when he said, he wasn’t going to do Project 2025.

Blaming DEI for everything, will be normal. Trump and the gop are only for the white race and only whites who agree with him. They want to go back to the 1950’s and even 1800’s.

Trump doesn’t give a shit about those who died.

Tarriffs on Canada, Mexico and China. The Midwest and both Coasts get a good chunk of oil from Canada. Just drill baby drill? I don’t see many companies making that kind of investment.

Not a US made car that doesn't have Canadian parts. Beer will be hit hard as will Tequila and as always Food and Oil.

Exclusive-Musk aides lock government workers out of computer systems at US agency, sources say

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Aides to Elon Musk charged with running the U.S. government human resources agency have locked career civil servants out of computer systems that contain the personal data of millions of federal employees, according to two agency officials.

Since taking office 11 days ago, President Donald Trump has embarked on a massive government makeover, firing and sidelining hundreds of civil servants in his first steps toward downsizing the bureaucracy and installing more loyalists.

Musk, the billionaire Tesla CEO and X owner tasked by Trump to slash the size of the 2.2 million-strong civilian government workforce, has moved swiftly to install allies at the agency known as the Office of Personnel Management.
