I say it all the time. Some back me up on the board.
I think its not a Cowboy thing but fans in general have this tendency to place their team on a pedal stool like they have no faults. It is very much present on this board too. People just can't handle the truth cause reality is just too harsh for some.
To me there is a difference. While there are unrepentant homers here, on the whole the discussion here is more critical than any Cowboys board which I have visited, and I've been to several. |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Gosh it's a shame the Cowgirls lost in their new stadium....oh well...they'll get use to it.
|
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Dallas loses now kindly gtfo cowgirls.

It is a good thing that they have giant screens on which to watch their team lose. |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
So these are a lot of points scored by both teams against two supposedly good defenses. Oh well, a Redskins win and a Cowboys loss, that's a good Sunday on my book.
Eli has really become a top QB. Ever since the 2007 superbowl he has been awsome.
Really? He was pretty miserable down the stretch last year, capped off with a stinker of a playoff game too. On a side note, great to see the Cowgirls wet the bed in their first home game in heartbreaking fashion, all the while watching their overrated QB intercept his way to a loss. Great stuff, even if it was the Giants winning. |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Hahaha...I love it. Jerry's grand opening didn't go so well.
Eli has become a top notch NFL quarterback. |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Wow, that was a great game... sad thing is they probaboly scored more points tonight than we'll score by the bye week... We have ALOT of work to do to catch up with NY and Dallas. I think we can hang with them defensivley, but they're offenses' are great.
|
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
I think Tony misses Jessica or TO, he looks sad.
|
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
I thought JC was better than Eli but after he beat us and Dallas, I don't think so anymore.. JC is still a good QB though.

Couldn't agree more bro, our offense is so bad, we may not win 8 games like this. |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Whats wrong with this site?
|
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Eli is a very good QB, he's up there with the elite QBs. Although today he got a little bit of help from Tony Turnover.

Yes. Really. I can't believe people still have doubts as to whether the Giants have a franchise quarterback. Coughlin is a hell of a coach too. Funny how he wasn't even on our list when Spurrier stepped down. |

How? You are never going to win when your QB throws 4 picks. Eli's troubles were from the lack of a running and their inability to score in the red zone. You guys are lucky it wasn't a blow out by the G-men. |
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Man Wade looks like he just ran the 40.
|
Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
I would have preferred they had gotten blown out, but I will take a loss. Both of these teams D's don't hold a match to ours (I am convinced) however, we need to get our O into gear by November!

Perhaps because people keep posting so the page flips over? Other than that I have no idea what you are talking about. |

Wade is so toast after this year.

He may be toast after losing in the home opener of Jerrytown. I love that they lost! and we won, and Philly lost, best weekend I could have!

Re: Around the League Including Tonights Giants/Cowboys
Ok all this shows me is both the Giants and Dallas Defense sucks. We were able to hold the Giants to 23 points unlike Dallas. It simply means our offense didn't get the job done. Had it scored points like Dallas did we would have had 30 something points to the Giants 23.
Just like today. Our Defense stopped the Rams, rushed them all day, and created turn overs. Had we actually scored a TD on each time we got to the red zone we would have had 21+ points. Zorn better get to work this week. |

A blowout? they scored 21 points off of turnovers we almost had 2 100 yard rushers. what game was you watching? |

well turnovers count. You guys had good red zone defense, but if the Giants had gotten TDs instead of FGs it's quite a different score, plus they missed a 29yd FG, very rare for their kicker. Both your d's were less then stellar over all |
