same.. though that's how I am with every show that I watch

I wonder if it's on comcast ondemand hmmm
It's one of the shows I watch on the plane, but I've never actually seen it when not up in the air.

It doesn't, in my opinion, come close to How I Met Your Mother as far as CBS sitcoms

Anyway, as far as new shows I watched some Men of a Certain Age today. Thought it was decent, but nothing really all that great. Was hoping for more considering the cast.

can't say I've watched either of those shows

re: What Shows Are You Watching?

One day I'll watch How I met your Mother. It seems like it could easily be in the same neighborhood as Friends when it's all said and done. Though I would prefer for the series to be almost finished by the time I start watching it. More fun to marathon a show rather then one a week. Anyway looks like I'll have something to look forward to in 2015.

Personally when I get a chance I like watching The Big Bang Theory. Not exactly the best combination of humor and story like you see in shows like Friends and Frasier but it definitely has the humor part down.

In the meantime the only sitcom that I haven't really gotten a chance to see all the way through is Will and Grace. Very rarely have I not gotten a good laugh out of the show so thats always a good thing. Though I wish I could rewatch Everybody Loves Raymond, George Lopez, Frasier, Malcolm in the Middle, and Friends for the first time. I also wish I could get into Cheers but it's just not my type show, not to say I don't enjoy it when it comes on. I'll probably get around one day to News Radio and Just Shoot Me.

It's kind of like coaches that have won a Super Bowl with a previous team. Very difficult to repeat the same level of success. Fox probably thought they had a surefire hit with Back to You with Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammer. NBC learned that with Joey.

The Pacific continues to rock. Just flat out great, great television. And if you aren't proud to be American after watching it, I'm not quite sure if you have a pulse.

I also really like Life on Discovery. So impressive. How they get some of those shots blows my mind. Shows like Life and Planet Earth are the reasons that HD television exists.

And I friggin forgot to DVR the new episode of Family Guy tonight. Shit.

been watching it too, just dont trust these reality shows though.Every week the boss is stuck with someone that has a "story".
I work at a jewelry store in Kingwood. George Foreman lives in Kingwood. He was shooting some reality show,I dont know if it was ever picked up or not.But he brought his own wifes ring in to stick in one of our cases and pretend he was picking it out for her. After that its hard for me to believe that most of the stuff that happens isnt a setup.

"Reality TV" is one of the biggest oxymorons on this planet. It's all contrived BS.

24 is definitely wrapping up its TV run with an excellent season. The suspense level that they keep it running at is amazing. I would like to know how they intend to put it into movie format

Really? I think the show is totally enjoyable... knowing it's based on an Elmore Leonard story, it's like every episode is one of his books condensed.

Glee came back tonight with a bang. Such a good show. Jane Lynch is so funny. I DVR'd Lost. I'll check that out tomorrow night.

The Pacific tonight was incredible and so intense.

Life continues to be unreal, with the exception of listening to Oprah talk for an hour.

I kind of agree. The first episode was awesome (Fire in the Hole!), but the others have lacked something to be desired. The racist dude in this new show (Walton Goggins) was a great character on the FX series "The Shield" and needs to be written into more episodes. I'll continue to watch in hope of it getting better.

LOL. Well played. We had a looong day, and I was checking some emails from the couch down here in sunny Siesta Key. Figured I'd pop in real quick. Today and tomorrow is a lot of down time before the wedding festivities begin, so I may have one more appearance left in me before the honeymoon. :)

Congrats GM, totally missed the fact you got hitched.

And The Event does look interesting. NBC's rolling some quality stuff out- I'm looking forward to their summer mini-series, "Persons Unknown."

Thanks. Not quite hitched yet. I've got two more days of freedom :). Ceremony is on Siesta Key Beach (FL) on Sat at 6pm. We're actually in Hog1's neck of the woods. Then we head to Aruba for 5 days.

Hell yeah... after last weekend's Breaking Bad season finale, I think AMC has topped all networks with only a lineup of two shows. A zombie show on this channel is going to be sick.

never have

didn't like Lost though

I try to keep it simple nowadays and just watch whatever I like on demand.. cooking shows.. two and a half men, that's about it

I can't really be bothered to get into the ones that continue too much to make it unenjoyable if you miss an episode
