Meh, the Favre hate is crazy. Seriously, people really think he's checks RSS feeds every minute of the day to see if he made the news when it just makes no sense.

I do think we will see Tarvaris sooner or later. Favre is not going to last at the rate he's being decapitated.

Not a crazy Favre fan. Just respect a great player of the game.

See post #107 in this thread. Repeat as necessary.

Not going to entertain a Brett Favre debate now. :argue:

Part of me would love to live on a west coast time zone but I don't think I could stand 9 AM football games. Weekends are for sleeping in.

Also get ready for a Brett Favre bender after this year. Not only will he go through a nasty divorce but he'll finally face the fact that he can't last another season. Somethings going to come up either drugs, drinking, or some other vice. It's unfortunate to because for all his flaws I think he's still a good person at heart.

I assure you that's the best part...for me anyways. I go play pick up ball at 8 am...be done by 9:15 am, get back home for a quick shower and then off to the bar. I am free for whatever after 1:30 pm.

Btw, it helps that Seattle night life is completely dead by 2 am.

Ok guys, I know some of you will not care, but I had to go and check out what Dallas fans are saying about their team. Only because on the radio today the announcers were talking about how Dallas should go after Cowher. lol. God that sounds familiar.

Not only does that sound familiar some of their complaints sound way to much like Skin fans complaints after last yr. lol.....
Don't pay any attention to the player haters that post about other users and what they don't like about them instead of just talking about the Cowboys. A lot of Cowboys fans feel the same way you do. Jerry promised Tex Schramm he'd stay out of the football side of the Cowboys when Tex brokered the deal to bring Jerry in as owner and remove Tom Landry from the head coach position because the handful of playoff drought seasons Tom had brought was more than Tex thought the Cowboys and their fanbase deserved. Now with 1 playoff win in 13 seasons, Tex is not around to save us from GM Jerry Jones meddling in the football side.

long time Cowboys fan here doesn't mean I have to like Jerry Jones. the Cowboys were around LONG before he bought them, and it is disgraceful what he has done to this team in the last 14 years.
They are just too funny even though they sound like us a year ago, or two. lol.

I know Cowher has been reported to be possibly heading to the Panthers after this season, but Jerry Jones would be extremely wise if he could bring him in and promise let the GM and HC build a team.

I would probably be most worried if he did cause Cowher was and AFC team as well and has played Shanahan many times. Those games between Pitt and Denver were epic.

There's no chance in hell that Cowher coaches in Dallas next year. Cowher already saw what Jerry moving out of the way meant when he brought in Parcells and now he doesn't have a stadium to build so there's no incentive.

I'd worry more about Gruden. The level of talent on that team and the chance to coach Romo, a guy he likes a lot, might be tempting enough to pass on a job in Cleveland, which I imagine practically belongs to him at this point. Plus Gruden already has experience in dealing with a meddlesome owner.

This would make more sense than Cowher in Dallas. The Carolina job is tailored for Cowher, I'm sure they'd bring him in the same way that the Skins brought Shanny. Meanwhile, there's no way Jerry Jones brings in someone to run the team. Although, I don't know if Chucky would put up with Jerry's crap (i.e. gag rules, etc., etc.).

Definitely.

If/when the 'Girls lose to the Vikings next week, Wade should be fired, but knowing Jerry, he'll promote his love interest Jason Garrett to the head job...instead of firing him like he deserves.
:Flush:

As always, Coughlin will struggle but do JUST ENOUGH to keep his job, again.

I honestly don't see Cowher coming back in the next couple of years, unless the Panthers job opens up, which is likely. I believe that's the only job he's accept since it's close to his daughter's college. He had good reasons to retire and I don't see him getting sick of his family so soon.

Not really, he still owns his home in NJ and between his girls who went to Princton( one still does)also his late wife was seeing some of the best Cancer Doctors up there and the fact that he loves the way the Giants work(loves Reese) ...very much like the Steelers but the fact that he's not enchanted with the ownership of the Panthers helps.

I too doubt Cowher would go to Dallas cause it sounds like the Panthers job is his pretty much. I do worry about Gruden cause he is a good HC, but was just saying "if" the situation could work out then Dallas's best option would be to pick up Cowher especially since Cowher know's Shanahan and has played against it often enough.

I forgot about the 49ers possibly looking for a new HC as well. That would be the perfect spot for Gruden.

I don't see Dungy returning to HCing anywhere. I think he's happy in his new roll.

So who would Dallas pick up possibly?

So who's season is more on the line next weekend, Dallas or Minnesota?

I can't choose...but if I have to go with one I'd go with the Cowboys...Vikings still have the Bears and Lions twice and the likes of the Cardinals and Bills remaining.

It really is a must win game for both teams...room for errors is absolutely zero because 1-4 is akin to done-for.
