Dallas is the worst team in the NFL or the team with the worst passion to play.
We were beating the Eagles 14-0 when Vick left. |

The PUKES are 1-6, but yes the fork is firmly implanted. |

I'd say no. At least I respect your opinion even when I don't agree with it. But this guy is a wet match in a dark cave. |

re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
I would have no problem taking a flier on Moss. He is playing for a contract, right? He is definitely better than Santana, Grandpa Galloway and AA. With a leader like McNabb on offense Moss could be kept under control. What's that? Our coach cut our offensive leader at the knees for no reason? Nevermind, our coaches aren't good enough to manage a talent like Randy.

SURE.........let's bring him in. Maybe big Al can teach him a thing or two about hard work. team spirit and dedication?

Yeah, Core guys like Rabach are so much better for this team than Big Al. |

Haynesworth has turned it around in the past couple of weeks and has been a force in the middle. Moss has all the tangibles. I doubt he'll be what Gilbert Arenas is to the Wizards. |

Ok so at what time can the Skins contact him? If he's truly been waived which a bit up in the air, is the earliest after 4pm tomorrow?

Perhaps you want to use winning organizations as your model like New England....oh wait they ditched him. While it might be intriguing to think about, do we really need to pick up another aging cast off that has already been tossed out by other teams? We have been down that road about......48 times |

AND I hope he can. AND, AND guys like Big and RM. It's not the talent that is the problem.......it's the head? Proven to be unreliable in general. It's a shame they are not more like London........ |

He creates matchup problems. Randy Moss is still a nightmare to cover and since Kyle runs a deep first offense, Moss would be perfect. Grandpa Galloway is a joke and should not be on our roster or any roster for that matter. This is probably all academic. I would be surprised if we even have a shot to take Moss. |

I dispute the stability and.....usefulness of same. He would not be getting passed around if he were not a problem child. Could we use his talent....YES. Will he deliver? Who knows....head case. We maybe more than any team in the NFL have had a pension for taking on other teams problem children, players past their prime, etc. Perennially successful teams like: NE, Pittsburg, Indy, don't do much of that. Why? Self explanatory.......... |

Vikings announce Moss is out
Posted by Mike Florio on November 1, 2010 8:57 PM ET After a bizarre late-afternoon flurry of rumors and reports created the impression that coach Brad Childress went rogue when deciding to cut receiver Randy Moss, it's now clear that, indeed, Moss is out. "This decision was made based on what we thought was in the best interests of the Minnesota Vikings, both in the short and long term," Childress said in a team-issued release. "We wish Randy the best as he moves forward in his career." No you don't wish him the best, Brad. Because if he goes somewhere else and has a big impact, you'll look even worse for how you handled the situation. The next question becomes whether anyone will want Moss via waivers. If he clears waivers, he becomes an unrestricted free agent. |

I know this. Randy can run a 9 route. But probably like Devin Thomas, he wouldn't be able to grasp the playbook. No one runs routes like Grandpa Galloway ran them yesterday. |
re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
Does anyone know the order of waivers and when?
I would grab this dude in a heartbeat....even to start him at Center if we needed to! (or QB apparently) |

I found this waiver list...we are 15th behind the raiders.
No way Moss clears waivers which probably starts tommorrow NFL waiver claim order - NFL Nation Blog - ESPN |
re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
3.8 million to get the most physically talented wide receiver ever?
What can it hurt? |
re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
Rams should take him. Hope we do
|
re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
They just speculated on MNF that the Rams would take him, but identified the Skins of 1 of 4 teams most likely to make a run at him, along with the Seahwaks, Raiders and can't remember the other team.
Why not? When they traded for McNabb, they made it clear they wanted to win now. Either win now or re-build. Don't half-step. |
re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
Like Nucky Thompson, you can't be half a gangster;)
|
re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
I don't like the guy, but he is the most ridiculously talented big play WR ever.
It's not even close. We could really use him. |
re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
Would Randy come to DC? Would MS even want him? I guess we will find out tomorrow

I cannot think of any problem guys besides Randy that they did that with, and I would like to point out, they....recently jettisoned him when he became a problem |
re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
I don't see how it could hurt to bring him in -- everyone would know that he is a stop gap, you give him a contract for the rest of the year and then release him.
Wow, I am so kidding -- no way after the Haynesworth, recently with Hall that we need any more prima donnas on this team. Stay away, build intelligently through the draft. I have full confidence in Shanny and Allen that they will bring in some solid WR talent in the upcoming draft. |

Well, he wasn't officially placed on waivers today, so we actually won't find out until around 4pm Wednesday. |
re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
What if Moss doesn't want to sign with the team that picks him up from the waivers? Will they also release him if he doesn't want to play for them (i.e Bills)? Can they keep the rights to him after the season if he decides to sit out?

re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
id love for us to take a shot on randy moss. it would instantly help our offense on third downs and in the red zone. also, we are on a bye week and hed have more time to get acclimated.

re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
Is he cardiovascular fit enough for two minute drills at the end of the game?
|
re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
^lol that's funny stuff right there. I'm not happy with what the HC did cause McNabb is the best in any game the last two minutes of, but even I was wondering the last two to three games why McNabb is slow in the 2 min drill. It's like there is no sense of urgency. So bash the HC all you want but I bet was just wanting to see if Grossmen could muster anything better then a bunch of dirt balls and overthrown balls which plagued McNabb all day. Go back to the game day thread and look at the fans complaining about it also.
