Alright I edited the thread title, let's get into this.

So is everyone a carrier, or has getting exposed to their blood made them infected?

From what I read, everyone is already infected, it's death that triggers the virus to make you turn into a zombie. The zombies themselves seem to carry a more potent form in their saliva that causes death and subsequently then transformation. Supposedly that is the effect of what the scientist at the CDC whispered into Rick's ear before they left.

Ahh, makes sense

So they're all f'd, more so than what we already thought lol

Re: The Walking Dead thread (spoiler alert, read at your own risk)

I don't know how I feel about that. I mean it makes the whole show all about them trying to find a cure now, but basically that means that unless they do, no matter the result, everyone turns into a zombie.

I like it, makes their situation even more hopeless

:FIREdevil

This season sure is ending strong

LOL.

Absolutely though.

My wife and I looked at each other after it was each and were like, "DAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!" I hate/love that show because I'll get EXTRA hooked and I looked at the time left on the DVR and it's like 10 minutes. We are so hooked on it, it's crazy.

the real testament to the power of this show is that it keeps me up for an extra 30 minutes watching "comic book men" to see the scenes from next week.

Re: The Walking Dead thread (spoiler alert, read at your own risk)

I truly cannot stomach Comic Book Men and I love Kevin Smith. Maybe it's the fact that they guilt me into it just to see the previews, but I don't watch it out of spite!

I was randomly reading some stuff about the show and came across this old article... Picking Zombie Brains: John Bernthal, Star of 'The Walking Dead,' Hometown Boy | Washington Post Express

Turns out Jon Bernthal, who played Shane, is from DC and is a huge Skins fan. Kinda cool. I know Dalton Ross, a writer for ew.com who covers the show is also from DC and Redskins fan. I wonder if they talked about the team during interviews.

Sick last episode. So intense. What does the prison showed at the end mean? Man season 3 is gonna be epic.

I loved this episode! Season three should be incredible.

Yes I have been saying that through this thread. The action really got good when they make it to the prison.

I'm still sour over a couple things like killing Dale, but it was nice to see the season end on a strong note. Loved the introduction to Michonne & I can't wait to see who they cast in that role. Hopefully next season see's the Govenor done properly and there's some shit about to go down if they even remotely stick to the books that'll blow people's minds.

Loved the finale.

Big finish for season 2.

Season 3 is gonna be nuts.

Was ABSOLUTELY bad ass. That dude with the sword was creepy as hell.

mredskins, you know anything about that guy and why he had two walkers chained to him?

I think that's actually a woman, can't wait to see what that character is all about. That was a serious WTF moment.

Yet again, last night's show AND the series ended with me wanting a LOT more.

I am getting extremely tempted to read the books, but I don't want to spoil the show either.

No do it! They somewhat follow each other but it is fun to see where the show takes the storyline from the comic book.

they are really easy fast reads the comics and a page turner at that!

Start with this one!

Hahaha yeah they are amazing and book 3 might be the best one in the entire series. I'm waiting on book 8 to come out now, but since I'll be getting an iPad soon I might just get the digital volumes as well. Book 7 has a crazy ass moment near the end that as soon as I saw it I actually had to put the book down and go take a walk because it shook me that much.

I went ahead and ordered this book. I started off reading them on the iPad, but damn they really rip you off. The first 2 volumes were $4.99 each, I was fine with that, but then after that they jump to $9.99 each. At that rate I would end up spending $150 on all the volumes! Screw dat

This sure book must be flying off the shelves, I checked all my local book stores and everyone has it on back order. Gotta love Amazon.

I'm watching the marathon on AMC right now. Is anyone else? I've been watching since about 2:00 because it is too freaking out to even do anything without risking death.

It topped out at about 103 degrees today, i've been doing inside stuff....
