Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
That iced it for the Iggles. Guess we'll begin our annual hibernation now in hope of a fruitful draft.
|
Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Well good news, we needed to lose and we are, we needed Miami to win and they are, we needed the Jags to win and they did. Later today we need the Browns to win and I think we will get a heck of a lot closer to #4 in the draft if not taking #4.
|
Geez. What a pathetic showing by Grossman that series. We might as well just come out and take a knee from now on.

This team needs some serious Changes on offense
Qb obviously and we need some playmakers |
Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Yea, Miami won. So it should be
1-Colts 2-Rams 3-Vikes 4-Redskin/ hopefully but Browns have to win their game. I think. |
I take it your a numbers guy.... statistically. IDK but I've seen TW get beat a couple of times almost every game which is par for the course. Against the Eagles the first time prior to him getting injured he was beat also by the same guy who has made Smith look bad.
Considering that I tend to make only the most general of conclusions from stats and absolutely despise stat whores who don't know what the **** inferential statistics is, I find the accusation extremely insulting. I prefer empirical evidence, such as the following from this linky: Film analysis and breakdown of Willie Smith's performance against Jason Pierre-Paul and Jared Allen. - Hogs Haven Willie Smith had 38 "good plays" and 24 "bad plays" coming into this game according to this guy. |
Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Terrible end to the season. I was hoping they could at least end on a high note.

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
They quit......I never thouht I woud see that

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
We jump the Jags in the draft order.
Root hard for Tampa Bay and Cleveland. Those are awful teams, but if they both win, we pick fourth in the draft. |
Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
I AM arootin' like a.....Hog!

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
looks like we will pick somewhere between 4 and 7 in the draft pending results from today and tiebreaker rules (i dont know the strength of schedule % which is the tiebreaker).

If it's the latter, I think you're right. I haven't looked at the other option yet. |

Will do. Hopefully Fat Albert doesn't see too many snaps. |

I hate when fans take one game and call a player out who's essentially playing his first year but don't call out any of the others that have been in the league for more then a year doing similarly as bad at times. |

Totally my wish then they can think about a FS. |

Well boys, let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that Seneca and Josh Freeman have some magic left in them!

And you've already looked into this? So the Atlanta and Tampa Bay wins WOULD be meaningful? |

How about just bringing down someone who's been crowned as SUPERIOR to the incumbent and thus the incumbent is tradable.
You might have a case with TW last year since he was more of a liability run blocking and even more inconsistent. But this year? It's laughable You don't have to be a "god" to be better than Willie Smith. Just "good". |
Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Raheem Morris is so fired. Tampa is just awful.

He deserves to get fired. There i no reason for his team to be playing this poorly. |
Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
They're using the "tear" word quite a bit on the redskins post game show regarding Rak's pectoral. Shit.

Browns won't beat the Steelers. Looking at the rankings as of the finals so far today here is what will happen... 1. Indianapolis 2-14 2. St. Louis 2-14 3. Minnesota 3-13 4. Tampa Bay 4-12 5. Cleveland 4-12 6. Jacksonville 5-11 (Strength of Schedule .474)* 7. Washington 5-11 (Strength of Schedule .476)* *This could change depending on how the final games of the week pan out. I will update after all games are final. |

Sent from my HTC PH39100 using Tapatalk
I just don't see the fascination with "trading the farm" for Luck. All we'd have to do is trade with a team above the Browns. Which there are 4 according to the list provided in the previous post. No need to "trade the farm" when all we'd have to do is "sell part of the land" for RGiii. |

:( I really hope he doesn't go the Landry route and opt for some inane shit when he should just get surgery. Lets hope he's ready for the start of next season. |
Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
and, the gints win.
|
Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
I went out to a sports bar yesterday and didn't even watch the game. Funny thing is that the game was only on two tv's, and I live in Arlington. lol. I've seriously never seen it this bad, where people simply don't even care anymore. This team is just pitiful.

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Anyone else see this about Rocky? Intentionally skipped curfew, and tried to hide pillows under the sheets to make it look like he was tucked in bed? Way to end your Redskins' career with class, Rocky. Pathetic.
He was deactivated for the game by MS, essentially suspended with pay. Rocky McIntosh - Washington Redskins - 2012 Player Profile - Rotoworld.com |
Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Yeah, he's done. Not that he was getting his starting job back from Perry Riley anyway.

The inspirational leader of our defense who's never missed like 200 consecutive games and is a borderline HOFer! Oh wait, I'm confusing him for a player I actually care about. |

Shanahan is a prude. He's a Puritan who doesn't let guys do their thang.
/sarcasm. |
Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
I like that we had some Seals/Marines talk in the locker room for the final team meeting, but I don't know if I like the fact that Shanny wasn't even there and watched the scene on a TV from his office. Kind of strange....
