Has he fallen? I thought he was rated higher. Hosley of VT is also likely to be around in that range, either would be great value.

Questions about his athleticism and he had a poor combine. Hosley may be there also but by virtue of his positive drug test. Not sure that's the direction we want to go.

He might be availabe in 4th or 5th, which would be great value! Kiper loved him two years ago, in 2011 he had a lingering hamstring issue & his stock fell. McShay said his cover skills are "upper echelon" but that his size was gonna drop him a round or two.

Now that he failed his drug test, he is closer to mid-late than early-mid. He's not a character concern per se, but at the same time he's shown poor preparation habits. He's coachable I think, I don't see him as being someone that Shanny would avoid.

Last time we got a CB who'd failed a combine drug test - Fred Smoot!

So how many trades (other than the one done with St. Louis) will the Skins make this year? any over/under guesses, I'll start with 2. The first one will be moving down in the 3rd, for an extra 2 next year, and the second will be moving up in the 5th (maybe to the bottom of the 4th for 5th and 7th.

With a full class making it in 2012 we don't really need 7 more rookies to make the 2012 roster. I could see us moving back up into the 2nd by packaging 3rd and 4th picks and then moving down in the 4th to pick up an additional 2013 pick.

Is anyone else the least excited they have ever been about the nfl draft? At least in terms of who the Redskins pick, which is the most exciting part for me and prob most of us. No one has even cared to make The Official NFL Draft Day Thread!!!

We are just waiting for the confirmation of who we pick tonight, sure maybe something shocking will happen, but all our fears will subside within 10 minutes and perhaps much much sooner than that. Then we have 1 pick in the final segment of tomorrow's draft. Then we finally have multiple picks in the last day.

I honestly doubt ill watch at all tonight or tomorrow, just check my phone a few times throughout the night.

So anxiously waiting tonight's draft. Half the fun is watching teams reach for need and seeing who falls until tomorrow. Like most of you, I'm hoping for a huge run reaching for QBs, as that's the one position we aren't going to be concerned about in 6 hours.

I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on the "other" Robert Griffin from Baylor, the senior guard. He's projected from the 6th-undrafted, but he's received a bit of attention through Don Banks' [URL="http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/writers/don_banks/04/13/other.robert.griffin/index.html"]SI article[/URL] and seems like he's got his head screwed on straight.

I am really looking forward to see the #3-6 pick, I think there could be a bit of drama with those. Then I want to see the rest of the division, hoping all 3 other teams screw up some how.

I agree with Peter your draft starts tomorrow we all know who you're going to get... He's awesome you can be excited about the season but there's zero uncertainty of WHAT's going to happen.

Today you can relax and see what your team will do with their third round pick.

It's up there w/hiring Joe Gibbs, which I still say was a successful (relatively speaking) move. At least in terms of creating excitement & expectations.

One of those 3rd to 4th round picks is going to be Phillip Thomas (S Syracuse) especially after Merriweather's DUI. I would love to see a 3rd and 5th used on the line but I'm not holding my breath.

Originally I wanted LaMichael James in the 3rd because of his speed and shifty-ness. I think that an aspect on offense we just don't have. After the 1st round is done I think that we need to draft Phillip Thomas then hopefully get Ben Jones in the 4th. Then Target Chris Polk or Rainey later in the draft.

LaMichael James isn't the kind of running back Shanahan likes. He is a good player but Shanahan drafts RBs that are around 220.

I will say this. If Josh LeRibajdljd was drafted by any other coach I would have been VERY skeptical. However Shanahan has had success with interior guys like Chris Kuper who came out of like Northwest southeastern Middle South Dakota State U and countless centers and guards who weren't very sexy picks. Just like his taste in running backs I trust his gut in regards to selecting offensive lineman.
