I see them taking a step backwards this year. 6-7 wins. They're simply not going to be able to score points. |

Brad Smith is still there, right? He's their backup wildcat QB. |
Re: Around the NFL...Training Camp Style
Smith went to the Bills last year.

OK, they're in trouble. Holmes, maybe Stephen Hill if you trust a 21-YO rookie WR...and a lot of nobody.
00 Adams, Royce 87 Ganaway, DaMarcus 16 McKnight, Scotty 88 Turner, Patrick 1 Webber, Raymond 17 White, Jordan 18 Pollard, Royce 19 Riley, Eron 84 Hill, Stephen 10 Holmes, Santonio 85 Schilens, Chaz 89 Jackson, Dexter 11 Kerley, Jeremy |

they got a lot to prove, got to stay healthy at QB and they need their safeties and linebackers to play a ton better. Their safety play rivaled our in ineptness. |

second of all, yeah right single use stays in system for a month. subsequent tests would have reflected low levels getting lower *BUT i don't know if the nfl operates like the court system/probation, where if you test positive, you may continue to test positive while showing lower levels on each test until the test shows it's out of your system - over the course of a realistic timeline. It's like you're an athlete why are you inhaling smoke in the first place? As far as I'm concerned as a player in any sport you're only allowed to smoke anything in one setting during your career. Their LB corp should be substantially better. Can't say much for their safeties as they still don't look that good. I think the depth behind Vick is a bit lacking. |

Useless???!?!?!!!??? He lead the jets in receiving TD's last year! He was probably the best and most consistent player on that teams offensive (skill-position player-wise) |
Re: Around the NFL...Training Camp Style
D hall had a good interview today on NFLN. Said Griffin is a wiser version of Mike Vick, also seemed like he is more mature now.

I'm not wishing injury on him, just sayin'...but if McCoy tears an ACL early in the season, Philly will struggle. |

He got 3 of those TDs from one game, and was pretty meh the rest of the season. I mean, don't take my word for it, take the fact that the Jets cut him and that NO other team has bothered to contact him in regards to a tryout. |
So the owner of the brown s came out and said he's a huge Steelers fan??? Lmao

But they are thin as hell at WR and have already lost one of the best OL in the division, another injury along the OL and I'm counting down til Vick gets injured. |

He's always hurt. I feel like every year the same teams are always favored. Philly, Dallas, NYJ etc. And every year they don't do anything |

the jets didn't cut him, he was a FA at the end of the year. But yeah like you said no teams have been contacting him so it can be that he's old and drama |

Plax doesn't need a team to give him a shot, he'll do that himself. |

lol... With the current state of the Jets WR core you would think they would have brought him back.
|

I argue that because i think he probably scrambles to the left more and is more comfortable rolling that way. Normally you would say his blind side is more important, but i think it's his left due to his mobility. |

We could have really hurt their OL if we had enough cash to outbid them for D.Bell. Although I have a lot of respect for Vick, i think their receiving corp is limited. Here's how I see them: With Riley Cooper breaking his leg they don't (at present) show enough depth to 4-5 wide. If they're in base or 3 WR personnel: DeSean only runs routes outside the numbers and you can always double him. If you need to you can double Maclin but imo he's not a dyanmic WR and I think Wilson or D.Hall (if he's in the mood to play honest press man) can shut him down. Avant you can play man-to-man. Celek you can play man to man. The X-factors are Shady McCoy and whether or not Andy Reid feels like running the ball. |
