Will they win a game?
I've said it before, they have a good shot at going winless. Especially with Gabbert, he's just awful. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Glad he isn't our problem.

Re: Around the NFL Week 3
yeah thank god we passed on him

They got real old , real fast ,they gambled and lost . |

Wilson threw 4 TD and then watched the game from the bench mid 3rd quarter while T Jackson did mop up work til the end of the game. If Seattle gets homefield threw the playoffs, put them in the SB. |

What's the deal w/ David Wilson? How come they can't get him going? I know he fumbled a few but he's just too good a player to sit in the damn doghouse. Coughlin needs to stop the hard ass approach. |

Same problem as Eli , no blocking . |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
How effing ugly is this game gonna be tonight. I had dinner with dad tonight and he said the numbers say Peyton could be playing at his highest level and this is the year he makes the case for greatest all time if he caps it with a Super Bowl win

It's going to be bad for Oakland tonight, but next week they will bounce back with over 400 yards of total offense and force 2 turnovers on D. |
Nonsense, the Raiders will be on a short week, AND, more importantly, I'll be there.

Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Watching Aaron Pryor run, is like watching RGIII before his injury last year, that's the difference. He is not explosive this year, maybe that will return next year.

Terrelle Pryor will gash our D. |

One negative thing about Manning, he chokes in the playoffs. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Yea that int vs Baltimore last year was terrible. If they get bad weather in Denver this January it may be another early exit.

Even without postseason success, he is still one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. Him and Brady have been the two best QB's of the past 15-20 years. |

Um no are you watching this D I mean I know they are playing Peyton but they can't cover grass man and just like us THEY CAN'T TACKLE!!!!!!! if you try that upright stuff with Alfmo he will run you over. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Damn Charles Woodson still ballin. He's come full circle. Always seemed like a good guy.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Terrelle Pryor will gash our D.
The problem with Terrelle and why our staff didn't make a move to get him is HE CAN'T PASS that big one he completed came on a Really bad botched coverage attempt. That read option is nasty but I feel like something is missing on their Offense. On the defensive side of the ball if you let a guy like Alfmo get to the second level and go one on one with woodson I'm gonna bet Morris will win |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Getting a little tired of the Denver/Manning lovefest tonight. Does Gruden realize that every NFL team uses multiple personnel groupings?

He seems to be the only one playing on that D tonight and that last play was just a bad decision by peyton it happens. |

Thats for sure, The difference between him and RGIII is RGIII can throw the ball (when healthy) |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Run DMC might! ! Nice pass!
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
eh hey it's kinda bad when a gadget play is your best chance to score

Pryor has made some nice throws tonight and has some dangerous no name receivers that are fast, Moore, Streater, Ford, Butler all can play. I would not underestimate the Raiders at home, especially with our CB's and safeties. |
