Baker is better than Cousins, I'd trade them 1 for 1 in a heartbeat. He's a gamer, Cousins is the opposite. I have zero faith in Cousins to win.

Best idea I have heard in a long time. Allen is from a pro style offense, and shows some promise to be a Wentz type of guy. Kirk definitely doesn't want to be here. It seems his 3 INTs were nothing more than a big "F*&% You" to the organization. Even if he does want to come back(highly unlikely) I would let him take a hike. The 49ers and Rams have found their QBs, thus Kirk will be getting his ass kicked and frozen off in the nice environs of Cleveland. Guy is mediocre, and can only thrive with a stacked deck. Resigning him would be a waste as in his defense, he isn't surrounded by a lot of talent, but he really hasn't stepped it up either. Save the money that would have gone to him and shore up the defense. Darkwa ran all over us today, when in the past month or so he was worthless as a fantasy RB. Overall this team is too talent deficient to go spend a lot of $$$$$$$$ on a mediocre QB

2. There are plenty of teams where that is true and their quarterbacks don't get paid $25 million to throw three interceptions.

Fixing it is the problem, because the decision makers are inept. Cousins should have been signed 2 years ago at 19 mil per year. But nope.

The pressure of the 17th game of the season
The playoffs

Basically we have to go 10-4 during the middle 14 to have a chance to lose our 1st playoff game.

I agree. Kirk will be a good quarterback on a competent team somewhere else next year. Maybe the Bengals with Jay Gruden.

Now with cousins, I’d sit down with him and see if he truely wants to be here. Give him the contract if he does ....or I’d tag him and call Denver, Arizona, Jacksonville, etc for a trade. Whoever offers a 2nd rounder then do a trade and move on.

RIP 2017 Redskins. Damn, I still love this team, but that was the hardest game to watch in a while. Anyone know Cousins stats in NY in his career? It's like a fucking demon terrorizes him the whole game. I can't even blame it on injuries considering the Giants secondary was mostly third string.

Oh well, regardless, he's someone you can win with. Had we not be bent over by key injuries this year would have worked out differently. A big mistake was not resigning Garcon, but that time has past. In the end, I actually really like this team provided they can resign Cousins (and trust me, he DID play like total shit today).

Cousins just punched his ticket out of DC. I'm fine if he's gone. The guy can put up stats, but cannot win games.

I'd be okay if Snyder steps in and cleans house by firing the entire front office. Let's star from scratch. We have some young talent to build upon.
