if you think trump = obama ... perhaps you arent in the moderate 70%
perhaps im not either if im gatekeeping this moderate 70%
I am talking about the energy of the movement. The middle of the electorate can be swayed by energy (positive and negative) Obama highly energized the far left. That energy passed through the electorate, energizing the hard right too. My point is that the middle doesnt have the energy to sustain those polar opposites and instead will seek to draw to a mid-point. Maybe a little more liberal particularly in social concerns but finding a balance. A good example is the majority of Americans think black lives definitely matter and a majority of Americans think police officers serve a vital purpose. The energy of the middle will draw best parts while leaving the extremists screaming with their overextended political agendas Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Take solace, Biden might win the big prize but it's def. looking like conservatives won everything else (taking back the House exempted). Dems overplayed their hand, the in-party division about which way to go hurts us worse as all conservatives are unified up and down the ballot. The one which hurts is seeing a literal Q supporter winning her race easily. The same way that AOC/The Crew get press she will too. Amplifying the radical voices in the party does not help at all. AOC and the gang would be wise to work towards the middle because she will not win any followers hardlining left policies. |
Re: Election Day Thread - Nov. 3, 2020
QAnon in Congress, for fucks sake might as well have someone who believes in Santa Claus and unicorns. That's some dangerous shit right there.

https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2020/10/politics/qanon-cong-candidates/ Marjorie Greene, the Georgia Republican at the center of a political firestorm this week, rejected the notion she's a QAnon candidate in an interview Friday with Fox News and said her "Q"-supporting videos are in her past and don't represent her priorities for Congress. "No, it doesn't represent me," Greene said of the "QAnon candidate" label she's garnered in the national media. Here's a compromise:
Having anyone in congress pushing unfounded conspiracies is bad and having anyone in congress that is anti-Semitic is bad. More than 1 thing can be true at a time. |

Biden proving that if you suck off the teet of the taxpayers your whole life you can become president as a reward. Awesome message. Bye bye Trumpy Trump My girl Jo Jorgensen running at a solid 1.1%. Almost pulled off the 3rd party upset lol. |

Democrats, win the Senate too. I want you guys to own all 4 years. Do what y'all want and we can all have a clean, fresh re-start election in 2024.

This. It means that THAT many people decided that racist, sexist, illegal at times and downright despicable behavior is OK in their book as long as it's "their" party. I'm more appalled that he gained MORE votes than last time. I can see being fooled the first time, but after ALLLLL the shit he's said and done in four years, people said, "That's my guy." |

This. He actually gained supporters with his behavior. Biden might win, but the underlying message is much worse. Almost 70 million Americans endorse his "talking out of his ass" behavior as POTUS. And if there's one thing the last 4 years have taught me, it's that anything goes when conservatives are in power. Something tells me Biden won't be held to the same standard though. I can guess there will be at least one member here who endorses this strategy of "they're cheating the election by counting votes." |

Trump basically pissing on democracy by suggesting fraud, filing lawsuits, wanting recounts in some states, stopping the count in others... what a joke.

Legal is key here and if votes aren’t legal, then that’s the problem. Interesting you don’t think proper oversight is needed to ensure this solemn right is protected.
