If Jim Zorn were still here, it would be a Code Maroon game.
I guess the league doesn't hate us after all. Oh wait, short week for Dallas. Hate back on.
So we get the eagles after their bye plus another two days, and then play Dallas after a short week, and all after playing Dallas coming off 10 days of rest. Better than fielding Keanu Reeves and Jon Favreau on Sunday, but it’s pretty rotten luck for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Eagles pre game
So the league gets eyes on Tuesday night major east coast and west coast markets on a Holiday week?
Shit never works out for the NFL and their wallet |
Re: Eagles pre game
Tuesday Night Football
OK, whatever works. |

I wouldn't have it any other way. If they somehow pull it off - and are close to full strength come playoff time, they will be a dangerous group to contend with. |
Re: Eagles pre game
I was on Twitter earlier and it surprised me to see the amount of Eagles fans complaining that the game was moved instead of forfeited.
It was good to get that reminder of how despicable their fan base is sometimes. They really wanted that easy dub on Sunday. |

Re: Eagles pre game
Eagles reporters are even saying the game should have been forfeited lol. They are so desperate to get wins that’s fucking embarrassing.

I hope we get the majority of the guys back and just throttle those fucks.

I’d imagine by Tuesday most will be back including Samuel and JDM |
Re: Eagles pre game
FWIW both games Tuesday are on FOX. If you don’t get the Eagles game it’ll be available on Sunday ticket
|
Re: Eagles pre game
Good to know, was wondering if I was going to get to see it.

Re: Eagles pre game
So of all the people on the list that are vaccinated and asymptomatic why are next to none of them cleared yet?

They still need 2 consecutive negative tests, don't they ? I have no clue in how many days a vaccinated person who gets Covid can come back to having negative tests... |

How did they make it easier to come back? Why do i have this awful feeling that we will still be terribly short handed on Tuesday and have a short week for Dallas…. |

Montez Sweat expected to be activated from IR and Reserve/COVID-19 list; play vs the Eagles.
NFL's new COVID-19 rules include changes to return-to-play protocols, return of intensive restrictions
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32883210/nfl-new-covid-19-rules-include-changes-return-play-protocols-return-intensive-restrictions
Thanks a lot ! That makes it clear ! "Under the previous protocols, a vaccinated individual who tests positive for COVID-19 has to produce two negative tests 24 hours apart before being cleared to return. The new protocols relax that requirement and could enable teams such as the*Cleveland Browns,*Los Angeles Rams*and*Washington Football Team*to get some players back for this weekend's games. In creating the new return-to-play protocols, the NFL and NFLPA focused on a new metric that measures the viral load of a player, known as the "cycle threshold" (CT). In essence, the CT value can measure whether a player is still contagious, even if in some cases he would still test positive on a traditional test. That testing can begin as soon as one day after the initial positive and could significantly shorten the amount of time a vaccinated player spends away from the team facility. There are now three ways for a vaccinated player to return under the new protocols: • Two PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests that are either negative or produce a CT value of 35 or greater. • One PCR test that is either negative or produces a CT value of 35 or greater, and a negative Mesa test result taken with 24 hours of the PCR test. (Mesa tests usually return results in less than an hour.) • Two negative Mesa tests. According to NFL chief medical officer Dr. Allen Sills, previous NFL test analysis has shown that players with CT values at the level of 35 or higher do not transmit COVID-19 and thus would not be contagious." |

It’s crazy to think about how we are all trying to understand epidemiology these days. On a football fan site! It has come to this.
Philly wanted a forfeit. I hope we bust them in the mouth. What crap. You’d have though they’d have wanted to beat up our scrubs. That they wanted a forfeit says all you need to know about their confidence in their own abilities. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The only point i agree with is that Sweat could be responsible for this by not getting vaccinated. Could be I said. But, as a team we did everything we were supposed to do so to blame this on dysfunction is ridiculous. What a bunch of cry babies. |

JP says he believes Kyle Allen will start Tuesday. Doesn’t think TH will be cleared from Covid list.. we’ll see

Re: Eagles pre game
Cosmi was designated to return to practice a couple days ago too.
Anyone know if all these players that went to the Reserve/COVID list tested positive, or were some of them considered "close contacts"? |

Ben Standig
@BenStandig · 4m From @bylindsayhjones : Washington Football Team Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Casolaro on a media call said of the team's 23 positive COVID cases this week, he only would've held two players out of practice based on symptoms. |
