Idk. You know how if the dog shits in the house and even after you clean it the smell lingers? We still have some fumigating to do. Anything that was his idea needs to go. But every day the stench lessens.
I totally vote for C- men btw.
lol - As someone that has owned 3 dogs I can attest to this. We still got some Snyder stench going on- mainly that name and those uniforms. They stink like cleaned up dog shit. It's not as bad as when it was laying on the floor, but it is still in the air and it has to go. |

Didn’t anyone see Robert Saleh break down his 4 levels of competitors?

Re: Changing The Team Name, Give It A Rest!!
To me it sounds like they are trying to say all the right things and keep ramping up the fans fervor and not explicitly saying that they are or aren't changing the name and keep pointing the conversation towards winning and looking to the future.
IMO with the costs of re-branding yet again, that cant be a priority, not with the stadium in shambles and all the costs to fix it temporarily. And what the cost of building a new stadium will be, which is the ultimate goal, I think the compromise will be they will ultimately keep the Commanders name and re-design the uniforms to look like the Redskin/WFT ones and everyone will be happy, not really but close enough. |

By the time that decision rolled around DS had checked out and seemed like he didn't care what happened with the team or the name. Ron always seemed to be advocating for a military related name and with DS checked out Ron spearheaded the decision and got what he wanted by default. |

Snyder was too busy funneling as much money as he could from the team (see his "marketing" $4 million dollar a year fee to have the team logo on his private plane  ) |

Not so sure about that. Besides the revenue sharing, it all goes into one pot and distributed evenly so I would think the other 31 owners would have a say as well. |

this would be the only one the fans wanted . . . NOBODY i personally know that is a fan has bought anything with Commanders on it . . . NOBODY! Some of you may have, but i guarantee that if it is rebranded to a name selected by fans while the new ownership honeymoon is still in effect, just about everyone would buy something. I know I would. I actually got Johan Dodson jersey for Christmas last year and asked for a receipt to return it. I simply cannot wear that shit. |

Propaganda? It’s an article. No into politics |
Re: Changing The Team Name, Give It A Rest!!
The answer is sitting there in front of us - Braves- go back to the original name and you can unretire the NA logo that is so popular with that group and the rest of us.

That’s ok. I guarantee I’ve bought enough merchandise to make up the lack of purchases by you and all three of your friends :) |

Soros and fox= politics. And make me want to talk about the group trying to reinstate the name claiming they are native Americans and we gonna go down a rabbit hole. Which is why Ruh shut that shit down. |

Thinking that anything NA related would be ok is almost as bad as thinking Redskins was coming back. The NA ship has sailed with this franchise folks. |
Changing The Team Name, Give It A Rest!!
Yeah and as long as we aren’t named after anything cowboy either im fine with it. No Cowboy or Indian stuff!
C-Men Football Team Code Reds The Trap The Snyderless Franchise The Diesels The Fun Bunch The Smurfs The Hoggs Cool with any of those! |

lol . .. ok . . . Commanders merchandise sales have been one of the lowest of all franchises . . . but you know better. |
Re: Changing The Team Name, Give It A Rest!!
Im thinking nobody knows what Summo does that is going back n forth with him? Lol
He never said that Commanders merch was flying off of any shelves. |
Re: Changing The Team Name, Give It A Rest!!
I think the problem with Commanders is the minority percentage of fans that enjoy the name aren't nearly as vocal as the ones who dislike the name. So when Josh Harris is mostly hearing "change the name!" repeatedly since he bought the team eventually it wears on him.

I don’t think there are people who enjoy the name. I just think there are people who dislike it less. Certainly nobody who is or was jumping for joy about it. It really just doesn’t flow. Im still amazed it was chosen, especially after All those fan polls, etc. They made it seem like the fan base was involved than Commanders comes out of left field. |
Re: Changing The Team Name, Give It A Rest!!
I’m in indifferent to the name. Very similar to how I feel about Capitals, wizards and orioles it is just there
