I'd keep EB as the OC and hire a real HC and DC
If he agrees to line up more NOT in the shotgun and runs more while developing real PA passes off said runs?.... sure. |
Re: The Sam Howell Thread
It's also a factor of being available. He's tough. How many #1 QBs have taken every single meaningful snap this season? If he keeps this up he may lead the league by being last man standing!
How many have been sacked 50 times and never seem phased! Dude is a tank and the best ability is availability. |

Why should EB agree to anything just to keep his job as the OC here? He didn't come here to be the permanent OC in Washington. He came here to prove himself as a HC candidate. If Ron is fired and EB is passed over as the new HC, I think he'll leave. |

did he sign a 1 year deal? or? |

Multi year deal |
Multi year deal
then it would be up to the team if EB leaves or not if they do not make him the head coach . . . EB can quit, but would be giving up all that $$$. he won't do that, so either he is fired, or the commanders can choose what he is coaching |
Re: The Sam Howell Thread
EB needs to stay, letting him go would be malpractice to Howell

Sam can do it with any capable OC. |

The media never talks about him, it’s alway CJ Stroud. That’s ok, we know what we got. |

We got check down Charlie with his 5 yards per attempt average. Stroud is dropping bombs downfield. Stroud is a legit franchise QB. Howell is on the same level as Heiniki. |

I agree with you. Sam's progress is so rapid we shouldn't mess with the coaches who are helping him develop his skillset. |

Sam just needs to keep playing well and the rest will take care of itself. It doesn't help that he's the QB of a team w/ a losing record. The talk about Stroud is very well deserved. |

It's either HC or bust for EB. Besides, after this year he may have other opportunities to be a HC. |
