Actually it should be priceless...I wish we could have a camera on Danny and Vinny the whole game in splitscreen w/ the action on the field :laughing-
Yeah and I'd like to be sitting beside him so after every 3 and out I could slam his face against the glass and yell, "DID YOU SEE THAT BUDDY!?".... "WE NEED O-LINE MORON!!!" |
Re: Mark Sanchez at 13th?
after watching the Top Ten Draft Busts last night... making any HUGE move one on a "hunch" makes me uneasy... Fine, Sanchez looked good on tape in NCAA.. but we havent seen him on the NFL level.. period. this whole situation with the Move-Up Sanchez deal & Campbell now being unhappy is gonna start eating at the team IN HOUSE.
I would have maybe tried to accept it if Campbell wasnt pissed. I just think the front office or whoever... is really disrespecting JC. Hes done nothing but developed. |
Smoot, how crazy is it at that place? I mean between all the rumors, and people trying to get the scoop, I imagine it is quite a wild coffee room right now.
Well, I sit on a different floor from all the general craziness but it's not so crazy really. This weekend will be pretty insane. But we've gotten so used to it all that it's not such a big deal. |
Re: Mark Sanchez at 13th?
Now that all the Jets rumors are out there about intrest in Campbell....
I think we would have a hell of a draft if we traded up got sanchez, traded campbell to the jets for there 2nd rounder(52) allowing them to get their QB and still get there WR in the draft. And then maybe we luck up and snatch mack with that pick? How would you huys feel about that scenario? |
Re: Mark Sanchez at 13th?
I think what I'm most worried about with a potential Sanchez pick is the development of our young pass catchers. I was hoping that they could start forming some chemistry with Campbell but it doesn't seem like they will have that chance. In a sense I was hoping that Campbell would be good enough this year to pick up the play of MK, DT, and FD but it looks like the three might be counted on to help Sanchez out. And that is a scary thought to me.
Saying all that though I do like Sanchez and do think he can become a quality QB in the NFL as long as we're patient. |

Re: Mark Sanchez at 13th?
I would feel sorry for Sanchez if he got drafted by us. Drafting a guy with a so-so line that gets worn out at the end of the year is how you ruin good QBs. Sanchez likes pork chops but he'll be eating Fedex field.

Totally off-topic, but have you ever had the Chicken Madness over at Wisemiller's deli on 36th Street? I've been craving one for the lonnnnggggest time. Next time I'm down in the area I've got to stop by there. Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled panic |

Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled panic
Whats funny is after I read your post I had to go out and get a Chicken Madness for lunch. UNBELIEVABLE. Snyder should've gotten one for Sanchez. (My effort of keeping on topic) |
