Another lineman. This one a guard who can also play center.

Glad Bruce took time today to stop by the warpath and then started addressing my concerns.
Value? I don't mind if we overpay him a little at this point. I say, put a very nice deal on the table and hand him a damn pen!
Anytime we have a shot at signing a young (for a center) starter-quality O-Lineman, I don't want to see him get out of town without signing a contract. Anyone on our O-Line not named Trent can be replaced.
He was a 91 overall in Madden 25 when the game started so lets get him. #MaddenEqualsRealLife #ILikeMadden |

#MaddenEqualsRealLife #ILikeMadden
That works for me. He also won his grade school spelling bee, so he's qualified. |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
I can't imagine this guy is a serious upgrade over Monty.

Then you didn't watch him play. |

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Penn's deal with the Raidahs: 2 years, $9.6 mil., $4.2 mil. guaranteed.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
De La Puente is solid. I guess Lichtensteiger moving to center isn't a lock, maybe more like a fallback plan. Good to see the FO is exploring all options.

Seems like the Skins certainly could have matched that if they absolutely wanted him. |

Penn also has family in California. Also, how much should we pay for a right tackle? Is $4.8 mil./yr too much for a RT? |

Neither Oher nor Howard are great shakes but they make 5-6 mil. Prices for RT's are relatively high. |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
I prefer a homegrown RT. I say we trade down to the bottom of the second, add a third rounder, and then go OT, S, WR, WR. Then maybe some other guys at ILB or more lineman for competition. Big Bodies.
