You don't have to spend 700. Just buy a model that came out a few years ago.

My current phone is a Galaxy S8, bought it new off Amazon for 300 like 3 years ago.

So this is the phone I have...I had both generations. I cant stand a big phone in my pocket. It’s weird and uncomfortable. I have iPad at home and is perfect for relaxing with a bigger screen

The price point works too...like I would never pay north of 6 hundy on a phone. Pissing away money IMO

When you tell your wife not to take her phone kayaking. She takes it anyways and as she steps off your pier on to the kayak it slide out of her pocket into the water. That makes to phones we have dropped off our pier. New rule is you have to put your phone in a water proof float case before you walk out on the dock.

What does SE stand for? How is it different than a normal I phone 12?

Good little review

Basically if you are ok with a decent display a ok camera and a smaller screen ( fits in pocket nicely) it’s a good phone.

I have a X now but when it dies I probably get the SE; no reason to drop a grand on features I don’t need or want.

I will only let my son play for non-parent run organizations. I feel bad for REC kids that are stuck with DAD BALL.

People think HOAs are bad deal with these dad run REC programs; they are little czars.

My son is 13 now i have learned drop off pick up avoid other parents and just keep your mouth shut. At 13 its up to him what he makes of his playing time and the teams he makes.

There is a kid on his LAX team his dad is a Raven's coach and former NFL player. That kid runs so fast that people at tournaments stop just to watch this kid run. My son could practice and train everyday with the best he will never reach that level. There are so many dads that just think if i push him harder he will achieve that level; yeah no. Genetics you got it or you don't.

BUT with that said there is a level for everyone and everyone if they choose to play a sport should be able to enjoy it with like skill sets around them. Parents have just turned the AA A and B into a status symbols to brag on FaceBook about.

I am almost out of the woods and my son loves to play his sports at his level but man its been a long 9 years.

Best think i ever did was not sign up for Facebook.

ugh Facebook really is the worst. I deactivated my account a few years ago, but I pop on once in a while if I have something to sell on the marketplace. About the only thing FB is good for.

I was on FB the other day to sell my old xbox, so of course I nosed around a bit. Just the same old crap and misinformation. It's insufferable and I'd really rather not know how dumb people I know are.

Man, Fuck New Year’s Eve...only thing that makes it worth while is being a live show. Other than that, I see rookies and lush fucks. Get the fuck outta my face.

Relaxing on the couch, dog laying below me, gf rubbing my feet on other side of couch...I’m sipping on Jim Beam black with ginger...good enough for me.

Sunday night northbound 95 Massaponax/Fredericksburg traffic. Pre-corona, post-corona, New Year's weekend, regular average weekend, accident/no accident, some things never change. From Massaponax to the toll lanes northbound 95 is always jacked up.

When you want to stay in a hotel for 1 night, and the non-fundable pet fee costs more than the room itself. Hotels really try to screw pet owners, and they're blatant about it.

Paying a diagnostic fee.

I get it takes time to figure out the problem but it use to be in the day if you got the repair done you don’t pay the diagnostic fee.

My spa was not heating , I tore it apart and figured out the board cut burnt up. Call spa repair place tell them I need a new board ; oh wait we have to come out and make sure. So they do it took 10 seconds for him to say you need a new board. No shit. Send me estimate it includes a $150 diagnostic fee; so ducking annoying.

When I try to QC my own email/work/etc. and instead of reading the whole thing, I edit a spot in the middle because it doesn't sound right. But it didn't sound right because I didn't read it in context with the rest of the email, etc.

I do this to myself quite often. And I'm not lazy when it comes to work, it's just trying to do too much at once.

Anyone else ever grind their own gears?

Samantha Bee. She is the least funny person I've ever seen on TV. There is nothing positive I can say about her. It's not politics either. She's just not funny.

If anyone finds her funny here, I'd be shocked, but I'll listen. Fill me in.

This new movement for every channel/network of channels, to have subscription plans. As a whole, I don't mind it, but there is no way to centralize it. I don't need every channel, but I also don't want to manage tons of different TV bills every month.

I can't agree more , its so frustrating.

As consumers we kind of asked for it, complaining about big package cable channels where we only watched a .25 of what we were paying for.

There is also a explosion of content out there being made; its overwhelming.

Four sets in the house . We have gotten rid of everything but HBO Max (it comes free with the new phones). Got rid of two boxes and are using air antennas on the two guest room TV's .Two of the TV's are smart and we down loaded an app so we got rid of all the boxes and are saving around $28 dollars a month.

It's annoying AF when I'm already paying for a cable package, and some channels want you to pay extra for their streaming app.

Yeah that's definitely a thing. It can be a brutal cycle since a lot of people drink due to anxiety, only to be left more anxiety ridden after drinking.
