Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Unless there's a super in-frequent pre-draft trade, shit is gonna be wild on 4/25/2024.
It's nice to actually have real curiosity/excitement, rather than hoping somehow dick-fuck gets undeservedly lucky. |

Do you know why he paints his nails? |
Caleb has said he doesn't want to play in Chicago.. I can't blame him. Its not a QB friendly weather city which is why Buffalo Took a dude with a Cannon for QB. There is a reason Kliff came to WSH, When there is this much smoke there is usually fire. Chicago has also not said one thing about trading Fields nor has any media outlet
Has he? All I've heard was a report by Collin Cowherd which he walked back later. |
Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
He'll play wherever he's drafted. Gotta believe that is going to be Chicago.

Likely, but there have been a few exceptions that stuck to their guns and at least one of which sat out the whole year prior to his rights being traded. |
The Howell train keeps on rollin' in 2024:
3. Marvin Harrison Jr. WR Ohio State 34. Jackson Powers-Johnson OC Oregon 36. Kingsley Suamataia OT BYU 40. Michael Penix Jr. QB Washington 67. Jeremiah Trotter Jr. LB Clemson 68. Ja'Tavion Sanders TE Texas 100. Roman Wilson WR Michigan 102. Johnny Dixon CB Penn State 137. Zak Zinter OG Michigan 180. Erick All TE Iowa 219. Kitan Oladapo S Oregon State 2025 NE 2nd
If Peters could pull this off, this would be a ridiculous draft. I believe that Penix is still the best QB in this draft class for the pro game. To me he is the closest QB to Stroud. I don't want a ESPN highlight QB that throws 15 screens a game. Then you add 4 to 5 starters, this is what they need to do. This is how you get better quickly. |

I really don't care too much about that. Yeah it's a little weird but so be it. It's the incredible hype machine that is behind him. It reminds me so much of Chase and RG3. Then when you look at his games against top competition, it's pretty much average to below average. Where is his CJ Stoud type of game against Georgia? |

Everything looks good, except we need Edge with one of those picks. |

We got enough cap space to upgrade a couple areas away from the draft. Between the draft and FA we can literally put a much better roster together quickly. Peters needs to save us. We are Princess Leia and he is Obi Wan Kenobi. He is our only hope. |
Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
We've come a long ways Baby!!😀 Next is the Draft that's when it will start to shape up ! We won 4 games with Ron and fired JDR with Sam getting killed because EB didn't try to run so I see NO reason with a easier schedule a entire new staff a lot of new players we could easy win 8-9 games and that keeps us in it with a chance at wild card !

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Next is FA, then draft. FA activity should give us a pretty clear steer on draft strategy. If they don't get in a solid veteran backup it would suggest they're keeping Howell as at least a backup. If they go after more than 2-3 FA OL then I'd say that leans hard into a QB with the #2 or a trade up. They won't rely solely on the draft for protection if they think they'll get a franchise QB in the draft, especially if they lose picks in a trade up.
