Re: Brunell is all class and tough as nails...but now we have to say goodbye
Oh sorry. I suppose I should say something really well thought out like "If Manning was our QB he'd have 60 TDs" So well thought out
So it is just completely absurd that Manning could throw 60 tds. He already has a season with 49. You are right, 11 more is physically impossible. |
Re: Brunell is all class and tough as nails...but now we have to say goodbye
Seriously guys, why not lighten up a bit? We are what we are. We're not a good team. The defense is a couple players away from being elite again. The offense has the playmakers and just needs a quarterback. Is it Campbell? I sure hope so, but if not, that's the position that needs to be addressed before this team even whispers playoffs or Super Bowl.
You need to look at the three fingers and the thumb that are pointing back at you Offiss. If you don't like what I post....don't post here. I'm not the only one finding your recent posts childish and tasteless, but if that's what you wish to post, then by all means continue on. But this is a public, free forum board and I'll continue to post my opinions whether if you're man enough to read them or not.
Look nitwit it's just 3 fingers, your thumb point's in a different direction altogether. After you spend 15 minutes studying your hand let me know if I was right. And please don't just keep rerepeating what I say and then substitute me for you. Be original like the genious that is you! |
I think Campbell will throw 100 TDs next year
Why not Gibbs drafted him didn't he! |
With his left hand, just to prove to Brunell that he can do it better.
Grow up for once in your life and stop with this petty name calling crap. And I don't care if you took the last 15 minutes to study your own hand (something tells me you actually did,) I'm not going to continue on sinking to your level of immaturity. |

Manning had a brilliant season and beat the record by 1 TD. 1, that's it. Someone will throw 60 TDs as soon as someone hits 100 HRs in baseball. |

that whats makes Campbell sitting so frustrating. we gave up draft choices for him and other players that could've been making all the difference on our defense now. |

I think that Marino's 48 were extremely impressive in his era since so many rules are in place now that help scoring and protect the QB more but with these new rules, I think all of the offensive records will be re-written. |
Re: Brunell is all class and tough as nails...but now we have to say goodbye
And run for 30.
I think the real question we need to ask is why is it taking the Redskins so long to hire Grim and Offiss to run the organization? Why is it taking any team so long? We'd be undefeated for life with those two in charge
Well the way things are going in redskin land these days they might be better off with the GIG crew, I need someone new to hand me excuses on sundays on why we lost, and the best way to make sure that happens is hiring the CREW, you know the guy's who believe everything is ok so long as Gibbs is in charge. Although I think going with someone who believes we need to fix our problems rather than trotting them out on to the field every sunday would be a better way to go. Why even bother, you know what everything is fine, Gibbs knows what he's doing, Brunell will eventually become the SB QB we all know he's capable of, and all the pre game football shows will stop grinning when the name Mark Brunell is mentioned, can't wait. |
Re: Brunell is all class and tough as nails...but now we have to say goodbye
Wrong by a mile on all 3 counts.
Harrington had a 400 yard game recently. Brad used us and is much better than #8. Walter makes throws even with a college quality line.
Are you talking about the Joey Harrington with a QB rating of 65 and has thrown 50% more picks than TDs. Please spare me. He's better than he was in Detroit, but that says nothing. |

I would hire as many ex-redskins as possible and get the best GM that money could buy. I don't drink the Kool-aid 24-7. Sorry. |

I mean the Joey Harrington who just beat the Bears and Chiefs. Two teams that would obliterate us right now. |

He is right by comparison, I would put Moss straight up talent wise with Harrison, El, and Lloyd combigned are better than Wayne and co. and Cooley is as good or better than D.Clark. Is Portis better than any back they have? You tell me? And he's right our lines are very comparable. so what's the problem?????????????????????? |
Re: Brunell is all class and tough as nails...but now we have to say goodbye
he would need to throw 60 td's the way the defense has been playing.
