Re: Michael Vick vs. Old Habits
He's such a waste of human life. He has so much talent and the opportunity to be something great, and he's constantly throwing it all away. He's like Randy Moss, Ricky Williams (all potheads coincidentally) who have gone from being potential superstars in the sport to losers that no team really wants.

Vick will be there soon. Atlanta should find a way to void his contract, which shouldn't be hard with the things he has done.

Matt Schaub has always done very well when Vick has been hurt and since Ron Mexico can't help the team win, it's time for a change.

Maybe the Raiders would like Vick. He and Moss would be best friends.
Who are you to make such a scathing comment about someone that you know nothing about?

It took me two seconds to Google him and find out that he has a foundation for at-risk children and that when he fingered the crowd he matched the fine and donated it to charity.

Can you give me the website of your foundation? Let me guess, instead of earning millions of dollars and donating a substantial amount annually, you give your "resources" to a football blog.

Can someone explain to me why anyone cares about this incident?

Good points. I dont think is really such a big issue but, the law of the United States says that we cannot LEGALLY have weed and Vick broke that law. Yes, I think all this publicity is stupid over such a trivial thing.
No, I dont think Vick is bad person because he smokes weed, unless he bo-gards it, in which case, **** him. LOL

Ok, Im a go watch Torresa' vid on JC again cuz its AWESOME!
If I'm the Falcons I find a way to trade Vick. Not because of this latest incident, but just because I don't see any way this guy will ever be a Super Bowl QB. Trade him and go with Schaub.
The best strategy to use Vick with is to give him a great defense, and let him be the enitre offense. The guy is an electrifing talent who will score some points just by making big plays.

The Falcons have spent their last two first round selections on recievers. This is not going to make the Falcons offense any more potent. Vick simply does not complete enough passes for the talent of his WRs to have an outcome on the game.

Schaub is promising but unproven. Theres no guarentee hes the answer there. Normally, if I was the Falcons, I would take Schaub's fabricated value and trade him for all I can get. I still might. However, the way they have built that offense requires a guy who is a better passer than Vick to run the plays to have sustained offense. If they want to improve on offense, they should go with Schaub, but theres always a chance that they will suffer a significant offensive dropoff w/o their playmaker in there.
What if someone gets caught with it in Canada? Isn't it just a slap on the wrist?
Depends on the amount they are caught with, but it could be as little as that.
Yeah, the two TD's that he threw and field goal drive that he led them on had nothing to do with it.
No you are right and really that is what a QB should do, but these numbers to not show me he is anywhere near as dominating as you are saying he was. The Falcons beat us not Vick. And really this year our team was bad and so we beat ourselves.

Mike Prick - 8-16, for 122 yards and 2 TD's
Running he was 10 attempts for 59 yards.

If this is all a QB has to do to kick the crap out of us, we might as well fold the franchise. Honestly, real QB's put up these stats in the first half if not quarter. He is a useless QB, and one hell of a model citizen to boot. All he is, is fast and elusive which means he should be a RB.
What is all this talk about Moss not being a good guy in the locker room, and not getting along with teammates? Where did you read that? I've never heard that before.
I'm talking about Randy Moss. He's a complete a hole.

"Wastes of human life" don't help out other people. I can't break it down any simpler than that.

Re: Michael Vick vs. Old Habits

Why am I not surprised.... Not one person who played judge, jury & executioner of Michael Vick has retracted their posts. And not one peep out of those who took it even further and said that he was a "waste of human life" and a terrible person even though he did absolutely nothing wrong.

Hypocrisy, the quickest way to achieving perfection in life....
