Re: Who Would You Vote For?
cutting down the armed forces was the stupidest idea ever. now instead of having soldiers making 23k a year for logistics jobs, contractors have to be paid 80-100k to do the same work. a down sized military only saves you money when they're not fighting. we could have been better off (on the economics) with our old full sized military for something like 20 more years with what's been spent on contracting in iraq thusfar.
a draft is great economically for the country, but i's terrible for the military. You end up with a lot more opposition and MUCH lower morale and effectiveness (ie higher incedents of drug use, going awol, etc). an right now the army will let you enlist as old as 42. if a new draft is instituted, the age limits can be re-assessed if needed. |
Re: Who Would You Vote For?
how screwed up is this? 95% on clinton. bleh.
(100%) 1: Sec. Condoleezza Rice (R) Information (98%) 2: Sen. George Allen (R) Information (97%) 3: Sen. John McCain (R) Information (95%) 4: Ex-VP Al Gore (D) Information (95%) 5: Sen. Hillary Clinton (D) Information (93%) 6: Gov. Bill Richardson (D) Information (89%) 7: Ex-Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) i'd go for mccain, or giuliani. I don't think i'd EVER vote for rice or hillary (not that they're women, just that i don't like them all that much). my results are screwy cause libertarian types are in between (conservative economics, more liberal socially). i think this survey wasn't very good though. Like, i don't care about immigration per say, only ILLEGAL immigration, especially those that are collecting benefits without paying taxes, but that wasn't an option, only 300k/year or don't worry about it. btw, i think the best race would be mccain vs obama... obama probably needs more experience, but if a dem has to win... |
Re: Who Would You Vote For?
(100%) 1: Sen. George Allen (R) Information
(91%) 2: Rep. Duncan Hunter (R) Information (88%) 3: Sen. Sam Brownback (R) Information I think it's interesting to note that Obama, who I hope wins the Democratic nomination finished dead last for me. Also, Giuliani finished halfway down the list for me, and I want him to be our next president. |
Re: Who Would You Vote For?
Ih Hillary becomes president, I leave the country. If Barack "Osama" Obama is The PRES, I might flee the USA too. He just looks like Osama win his beard shamved off. I mean come on...OBAMA!? Who ever heard of this guy B4 Osama went missing? NEVER! If he gets elected and gets up on the podium and spouts that he's OSAMA and he's now our elected leader and he fooled the american capitalist pig dogs, I would choke on my own vomit while screeching the words "I told you so".
OK..rant over....VOTE SANTANA MOSS FOR PRESIDENT! |
Re: Who Would You Vote For?

Not just the name well, okay, just the name. I have insomnia and I'm really DRUNK so...that could be half the reason I dont trust him. But Hillary I cant stand. "Oh, her husband cheated on her when he was president. I know! Lets make HER president!" Yeah, great idea.... |
Re: Who Would You Vote For?

Re: Who Would You Vote For?

Re: Who Would You Vote For?
now im just curious here, but are you saying you wouldnt fight for your country because:
(a) you dont agree with this war? (b) you dont agree with this war and you dont like Bush? (c) you cant justify risking your life for your country, no matter what the circumstances?
I know you didn't ask me, but I'd like to answer. I would only fight to DEFEND my country. That means defending against a direct attack. The only reason I would even do that is because I must defend myself and my family. Sorry, I don't care to defend anybody else -- American or otherwise. Therefore, I would never fight a war overseas, unless the enemy had directly attacked America first (e.g.: Japan in WWII). |

The liberal left thinks that goverment is the cure to all the poverty, drug addiction, day care, etc.. and that the goverment can cure these problesm. A libertarian says ok we will butt out of your life and let you do as you want as long as it does not harm others but do not look to the goverment when your a poor addicted person out on the street. That will be left to charity organization and I used drugs just as one example. The liberal left and the libertarian party are totaly oppsite where one is self reliance (libertarian) and the other is big goverment to take care of you (liberal). |
Re: Who Would You Vote For?

86% kucinich 84% kerry 81% clark 79% richardson |

Yeah, that's pretty much the way I always thought of Libertarianism as well. Libertarianism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

Yeah, well they pretty much attacked us directly too. I can't remember the ship they sank (Lusitania?), but it was full of Americans. |
