If that was the case UMD would have been higher in the ranks last week after the win over UNC. It's only now after the swept the almight duke that the majority of the media is starting to take notice. 6 wins in a row in the ACC is a big deal for any team.

Those are just power rankings, so they're just about who is hot and should make a run in the Dance. That being said, there's no way they should be ranked 4th.

UNC loses to g. tech. Virginia loses to WAKE FOREST. VT loses to CLEMSON. BC losing to GT. Duke just not being that good.

THe top 5 teams in the ACC are all sucking right now. basketball is about streaks. UMD is hotter than anyone out there in the ACC. We just don't win our games. We destroy in them.

All those acc teams losing to sucky teams when they have SOMETHING TO FIGHT FOR. All those teams could have had the the ACC regular season championship and could all have byes in the tourney. THe terps were frighting from the outside in and really didn't have much to play for against NC state but still come out with a win by 20 points. WE JUST THAT HOT RIGHT NOW.

Anyone watching the terps game when they went form a 13 point lead to the 21 point lead saw that when they want to be, they can be dominant. That little streak was sick. We made everything and played amazing defense. NC state was a joke for us to play.

No kidding. It was like a cakewalk. If we had our 5 true starters on the floor from the beginning, it would have been even worse. I live in Tampa, and I'm going to see UMD play in the ACC tourney. I'm SO pumped!

I felt dirty pulling for duke yesterday, it's too bad they couldn't take care of UNC and give the Terps an extra day before the tournament. Oh well, I expect them to get some revenge on Miami and then BC before beating the Heels again on Saturday.
