If the Browns are smart, they will get what they can for him while there is a market for his services right now. And no one is giving them a first and a third for Derek Anderson.

If they are lucky, they may be able to pull off a package similar to what Schaub got dealt for last year (2 2nds).

I just saw an article saying that the Eagles are going after Chris Clemons. Then, I looked at his stats for the year and saw that he had 8 sacks. Can some one tell me why we let him go, when he had a sprained knee. They bragged and bragged how fast and good of a pass rusher he was, and cut him when he sprained his knee. Now, the Eagles are going after him, because he is such a good pass rusher. Pisses me off.

8 sacks isn't anything to get too excited about either, but in this market that will probably equal a nice payday for him.

anyone know how old porter is? and i thought the jville receivers were pretty decent. i guess that means the end for Matt Jones. i guess he will be the next thread around here

Porter turns 30 in July. He's a DC native too. Jax has some overhyped underpreformers on their squad at WR. Matt Jones and Reggie Williams are both first rounders who haven't done diddly poo, and Ernest Wilford has been streaky at best.

Updating a previous report, The Sports Network reports the Cleveland Browns and QB Derek Anderson have agreed to terms on a three-year deal. The deal is worth a maximum of $26 million and no less than $24 million, with at least $13.5 million guaranteed, according to The Plain Dealer. The two sides must work out the contract details before the deal can be announced.
