Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?

I think the Titans would like to get him back, the Skins have already paid the major bucks on his contract. This deal would be very fair:

Haynesworth to the Tennessee Titans for their 2010 #3 (77th overall) and their 2011 first round pick.

The below article has a interesting paragraph: "So what would it take to land perhaps the best defensive tackle in the league? I think a team such as the Titans could potentially get it done for a second- and fourth-round pick. That's how much Shanahan wants to get rid of Haynesworth. Pretty amazing stuff."

If they do this we would be getting ripped apart.

People quickly forget how much they bitched when the team made Orakpo play LB in our 4-3 D. Granted that he did a good job, but I'm sure he would have done a much better job as a 4-3 DE. I see a very similar situation here with Haynesworth, and I hope Shanahan doesn't trade him just because of this. I guess this would be one of those head-scratching moves some people were talking about.

According to The Warpath's favorite rumor mill website, PFT reports that at this point Haynesworth's contract is essentially 3 year, $16M, with $9M of that guaranteed.

I hope they don't trade him, allow him to come to the April camp see how he looks if he's really been working out then make him fit.

From what I read in today's Wash Post it sounds like AH doesnt want to fit.

Albert loves to do what he wants. He has so much ability that he has been allowed to do what he wants and he also has a temper. Spoiled and a quick temper are rotten combinations for a team player.

I say screw AH and his fat issues. Trade him for something that makes us better. He's an obvious cancer. Working out with his own trainers... Yeah. Thankfully I trust in Shanahan to get rid of ALL dead weight. Fat Albert go lay down on someone else's field; you fat, overpaid, overrated, never be in HOF or win a SB self. Buy a new boat just get the hell off our team!

YEAH MOTHA F.........wait.

I still want Haynesworth on this team. Unless we can deal him for a 1st rounder or Brandon Marshall..

Usually Schefter knows what he is talking about, but this is very hard to believe!

Adam_Schefter

Despite rampant speculation, Redskins NOT shopping Albert Haynesworth and haven't had any trade discussions regarding him since March 31.

I'll believe Adam Schefter 10 times before I believe Mike Florio and JLC.

Well, Id like to believe it, but after some of the things that have beed said from so called reliable sources.......I just dunno.

I will say I cant recall when Schefter reported on something that turned out to be way false tho.

I was quite surprised to read the post story this morning & to hear on comcast last night that they're shopping AH. After paying his bonus I figured he would be a skin. If some team throws out a 1st or some good combination of picks, I'm sure they'd deal him in a heartbeat, but I don't see that happening. Maybe Minn. or NO might surpise us, he would fit w/those teams.

Honestly the only reports have come from Jason LaCanfora (who "broke" the news of AH and Landry being mentioned in the McNabb trade) and hyped up by Florio. Haven't heard anything remotely credible from then on.
