Seriously? You didn't think Kyle would know what he was doing? The guy was the O coordinator of one of the best offenses last year! He is arguably a top 5 O coordinator.
Success with the Texans doesn't guarantee success with the Redskins. I think he will do just fine and is the real deal but at the same time I have that "it's too good to be true" feeling.

Certain factors make a hamstring injury more likely. Age, weight, flexibility and bad running stride can all cause a hamstring injury. Previous hamstring injuries make another occurrence highly likely as well. Performing explosive movements when your muscles are not prepared can rupture the muscle fibers and cause a major hamstring injury.
To some extent this injury occurs due to poor flexibilty training and poor warm up practices. To some extent this is a preventable injury, especially if you have a history of this injury, you should be prepared.
Regardless how 'Great his hands are' and all of his other 'awesome' strengths (which I have not seen), if his body fails him this much at his young age, maybe being a professional athlete is not in his future.
It is not in our best interest to have a WR on our roster that has this chronic problem.
To some extent this is lack of preparation.

You might be right I think if the FO didn't think he had something to offer they would of cut him already.

Well, also, when you look at it Kelly is the biggest receiver we have on the team and many believe that, when healthy, he probably has the best hands on the team.

Even if Joey Galloway makes the team this year, you'd have to think next year he probably doesn't and how many more years do we keep a Santana Moss; two or three? So we'd be right back at square one trying to fill out the roster at that spot. I think Kelly is more about the next two years than just this season.

If he can get back healthy within another week or so I think Kelly is making the team.

When are first cuts?

Down to 75 players on August 31; and down to 53 on September 4

(sidenote: Antonio Pierce just called the Skins the team to beat in the NFC East...so I like him again)

^yeah when are first cuts. I betting Kelly's cut. He's only 2 inches shorter then Thomas so I can't imagine those 2 inches being a huge difference. Heck for all we know Thomas jumps higher then Kelly.

Devin Thomas has the worst jumping ability of any skill player I might have ever seen.

Go watch some college highlights of the guy. It's laughable. He looks crazy uncoordinated whenever he has to go up for a ball.
A good running game is a QBs best friend, I'm confident McNabb likes this offense better than Reid's
Agreed, both accounts.

He had a 33 inch vertical jump and a 10'6" broad jump...not spectacular but he can get up, certainly enough to dunk the ball or go get a 10 foot high football.
That is exactly why he needs to suck it up and play. I understand that Shannahan said that he doesn't want him to set himself back but after 2 weeks of a non serious injury, he has to gut it out and at least try to do something.
You ever tried just stretching a pulled hamstring???? It flippin' hurts, and I am sure making cuts at full speed and taking hits over the middle would not improve his or the Redskins' stock.

Nope I exercised and or played sports almost everyday from the time I was 10 until I was 28. I have never had a pulled hammy. I've had spraind ankles and knees a torn MCL and a dislocated knee. I have even had quite a few pulled groins but I cannot sympathize with a pulled hammy. The rest of that stuff hurt too and I had to suck it up.

I watched the game again and I came to realize that both our CBs were abused by Lee Evens but it didn't show cause Anderson sucks. I wish Evens was on our team.
