1. Yes 2. Maybe? 3. I'll second that pass. 4. I just noticed that entire family looks Amish. That's what I get for focusing on beard & bowl guy. |
The lockout has nothing to do with the small crowds. Bottom line is the fans are tired of the losing. I also think that blackouts are right around the corner. Never ever thought I say that but it's going to happen.
We've been strong at camp and we've been losing for awhile, the lockout certainly plays into the attendance |

Re: Redskins’ popularity wanes - PFT
I am sorry, but the economy and the last 12 years of general mediocrity by our beloved Skins, plus the heat would cause fan camp attendance to spira anydayl. Not too many people like our chances considering the overall weak level at the QB position this year.
Honestly, the people that don't like Snyder need to get over it. I am not going to defend any of the stupid things he did in the past, but right now he is a non-issue for the team. He's not making any decisions nor is he interfering with the team, he's just signing the checks. Personally, event the whole law suit against that newspaper is a non-issue for me, and it really shouldn't be for anyone as it relates to the team (which it doesn't).
I'm not saying that people should like Snyder, but unless he start f*cking the team up by interfering with operations or hire sh*theads like Vinny again, Snyder doesn't affect whether I like the team or not. And it really shouldn't affect anyone, but some people get easily distracted by non-important things. That being said, I think this whole popularity issue with training camp probably has more to do with the lockout, the economy, and the heat rather than Snyder. PFT probably posted that article since they really haven't had anything to report about the Redskins.
I agree get off the Synder Hate he stepped aside so now whats the beef. The people that are complaining get a life. Dont make the Redskins your life make them the team you support. I always faithful to the Redskins Nation. |

7,000 + fans is still a hell of a lot more than a couple hundred. Also Dallas is practicing at San Antonio, which is probably 5 hours from Dallas. Actually Houston is a lot closer to San Antonio than Dallas is. If we were practicing 3, 4 or 5 hours a way there wouldn't be anyone there. We're training here in the DC area, right down the toll road. Bottom line is fans are tired of losing, it's showing at training camp and it's showing in game attendence. |
