If you mean to trade up and draft a QB, then the answer is yes. To add players at other positions I wouldn't do it.

It serves its purpose.. shows that we don't have a lot of trade bait nor depth.. and that maybe we can't trust the organization to replace any integral parts of the team

NO! This is why we're always rebuilding, we never keep our drafted players and build upon them. Rak will figure out how to deal with double teams, Williams will mature, and we will have two franchise players that WE drafted.
