I've heard a few times now that the Skins might be looking to trade back into the 1st Round. link
But I haven't heard who those coveted targets are that they think could be taken in the 30-32 range. Have any of you heard? I do like the thought process that if you feel strongly about a prospect to lock them into the 5 year first round rookie contract as opposed to the 4 year rookie contract.
Makes sense and the price to move up isn't significant. |

I guess the shocker pick would be for TE Eric Ebron. |
Manziel is just too risky to take number one. I keep the guys they have at QB and take Clowney.
No, they need a QB, but I agree, Manziel is no #1 pick. You only take a QB #1 (or #2 like we did) if he's a sure thing. The media's hyping Russell Wilson and his weekly 150-yard performances as proof a shorter QB can succeed, so now a wave of short QBs are going to take over the league. Sure. Bridgewater would be my choice if I were Houston. Clowney would be an easy pick to make and likely won't backfire but they aren't going anywhere without a QB. Having the #1 pick doesn't come around often, not even for Oakland and Cleveland, so they need to make it a franchise-changer. A QB is the best way to accomplish that. A defensive player, while valuable, usually doesn't "save" a team the way a franchise QB can. |

I think he'll be there at #34 but we may need to prepare to move up to get him. |

Christian Jones Please... |
Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
My top choices for pick #34 would be either DE Stephon Tuitt, S Calvin Pryor, or WR Allen Robinson. If all of them were available it would be a tough decision but i would probably go with Allen Robinson. I think he could really help out the passing game. Robinson reminds me of garcon a lot by the way he runs after the catch.

Christian Jones Please...
I would be absolutely thrilled if we picked him up with our third rounder. He could be the TE covering LB we've been lacking for a while now. |

Good choices. We also possibly could tab arguably the best guard in the draft, David Yankey. |

Not that it would be a bad thing, but do we think we would move up to the first round for a Guard, Right Tackle or Safety? |

If we go WR, Robinson would be a solid selection. Odell Beckham would be my first WR pick, but he'll probably go late in the 1st. If he's not available, I'd take Davante Adams from Fresno State. His numbers are phenomenal, although they were somewhat inflated by the Bulldogs' system. Brandon Cooks and Jordan Matthews are two others that might be good choices. |

Watching film on Brandin Cooks like what I've seen so far catches with his hands no basket catches. |

As badly as we need O-Line and Secondary help adding a big receiver who could step in and start opposite of Garcon week 1 could do wonders for our offense. |

CJ Mosely would make this defense a number one defense. We could then go secondary and d-line in free agency. Bring back Rak, Tapp , and Jackson. Don't forget Kerrigan and Jenkins. |
Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Also, the piece that could fit the Redskins defensive puzzle together happens to be a playmaking DT. Thought Jenkins would do it. Anyway those ex Giants don't ever turn out good for Washington.

Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Our 2nd round pick and Kirk Cousins to move up and take CJ Mosley. What do you think?
