This is terrible.
This is bad ,I wish the Redskins luck .I never enjoy when players get hurt and to lose all your linemen at one time is devastating but it's time to see if the back ups can step up . Last year when the Giants lost all their receivers there were literally dragging them off the street week to week. The Skins have a good record and with some luck should still win the division . |
In other words if we go 4-4 in the second half of the season I'll feel very meh about Gruden (kind of like I do now).
If we go 5-3 then I'll be satisfied that we've got the right coach. If we go 3-5 or worse, then it's time to can him, because it will tell us he's too dependent on his top flight talent and will never get over the proverbial hump.
I already decided it is time to clean house. Gruden and the front office, scouts etc. The future is bleak, they need help almost everywhere. Even if they win 10 games, they are a mediocre team....4 easy wins in the NFC east |
Re: Injury News: Scherff, PRichardson, and Lauvao Out for the Year
I think there’s decent talent here. A big part of me thinks if we can’t go 10-6 with this roster the coaches should definitely be turned over.
It’s a shame because I think the world of Tomsula and Gray. But the direction would need to be changed. But I want to give it a chance before I jump to conclusions. There’s enough to work with and some winnable games on the schedule. Let’s see if they can pull it off. |
Not gonna lie, I thought this was footage of the play. Reed yelling at the refs is interesting and all, but if anyone has footage of the play I'm all eyes.
Found it for ya. https://gph.is/2FhtqYy This is the play Scherff got injured on, don't see much but that's the best we can get (they showed nothing live and on the view from the endzone the camera follows the ball). Just before the camera closes in on PR, you can see Scherff gets thrown to the ground (left bottom corner of your screen), don't know what happened next, so, 2 possibilities: 1) That's all there is, and cheap shot is kind of an over statement 2) He got hit again after that, and then why wasn't there a scuffle? If he was hit while on the ground, I want Moses in the defender's face, not in the ref's face! |

As the ref would say, inconclusive. The damage is done regardless. Thanks for digging that up though. |

If I was a free agent player I'd live close to Redskins Park.

Re: Injury News: Scherff, PRichardson, and Lauvao Out for the Year
3 linemen out for the season in 2 weeks, plus Trent with the thumb. Wow.
|
Re: Injury News: Scherff, PRichardson, and Lauvao Out for the Year
We already knew Trent would not play 16 games. He's always hurt at this point of his career. Same w/ Moses. And if they were counting of Lauvao then shame on them. Injuries are not an excuse. You better have quality depth in the NFL. Cooper came in there and played pretty damn well.

Re: Injury News: Scherff, PRichardson, and Lauvao Out for the Year
Hope he can keep up the pace but Jonathan Cooper looks like a steal right now. Only question is why didn't we sign him earlier...
When Trent comes back: TW, Nsekhe/Cooper, Roullier, Nsekhe/Cooper, Moses Fine line up. Health will be key though because we got NO OL depth. Zero. None. Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk |

Wow! Offensive linemen just can't seem to stay healthy. |
