Re: Offence and Alex Smith
Most are saying he will def miss up to a full year, so we are looking at midway through 2019, I don't see why we won't go after a new starter next season.
You have to draft someone, no if’s or but’s. |

Only issue is that this is a very weak QB class, I mean there really is no clear cut top 10 pick. Herbert is raw and do we trust any Oregon QB's? (Mariota is ok but always hurt) Will Grier looks good but he plays in a horrible defensive conference. So big ?'s all around the QB position. Maybe trade for a young guy sitting? |

Sick of this shit |

Re: Offence and Alex Smith
@RapSheet
Alex Smith had surgery last night on his broken tibia and fibula, an injury not considered career-threatening. The team moves forward with Colt McCoy on a short week. |
Re: Offence and Alex Smith
I am just going say it....THIS A HARD TEAM TO LOVE.

DJ Swearinger: "Hopefully Colt can take care of the ball and take some of those shots downfield that we've been needing. We've got big receivers. Why not throw the ball downfield and give those guys a chance?"

D.J. needs to learn to keep his mouth shut sometimes. That is out of line. Not the time for hidden digs at Alex. |
Re: Offence and Alex Smith
Redskins signed QB Mark Sanchez.
The NFL's "meritocracy" spins on. When last we heard of 32-year-old Sanchez, he was being slapped with a four-game PED ban in April. Now he will serve as Colt McCoy's backup in Washington. Sanchez has attempted just 109 passes since the end of the 2014 seasons. Dan & Bruce again |

Most coaches want to go with guys they know. Sorry but this is not Dan or Bruce making this call. |

I honestly doubt that Dan or Bruce are even involved in anything regarding a deal for a backup QB. |
Re: Offence and Alex Smith
No surprise with Sanchez given his ties to this staff. Makes sense.
