This the best you can do? Don't half step being a message board bad ass. Whip that massive ego out and drop some knowledge on us. |
Re: Charges against Reuben Foster dropped
Kerrigan typically plays 1 gap in the current scheme but he is way better with his hand in the dirt getting upfield as his first assignment.
He isnt good when he is forced to make a lot of decisions or reads quickly. He literally can't cover any regular eligible receiver on any current nfl roster, so why put him in that position. The 2 gap misuse of talent is really Allen, Payne and Ioannidas (the 3 down lineman). Even Settle is pretty fast twitch and can get up field. All of them can take a guard or center and put them in the qb's lap. Release the hounds and let them ball. The misuse of Kerrigan and Smith's talent is not having them getting up field as their first assignment and playing run on the way to the qb. They do rush frequently in base 3-4 but usually standing up. And every time either drops into coverage a cute baby animal surely dies. They should draft Khalil Hodge out of Buffalo U.....he's a 3rd round guy that's a 2nd round talent.. |
I still don't understand the obsession over 3-4 vs 4-3. We flex between the two schemes. I don't care which we run, we need a defensive coordinator who's better at disguising and being aggressively unpredictable.
This. Not to mention The Skins have been running a 3-4 defense for eleven years now. They don't have a 4-3 personnel anymore. |

We've had a DE playing OLB since 2011. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

Great interview on the Redskins Talk pod today with Kedrick Golston on the 3-4, 4-3, and defense in general. Highly recommend it.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks for the recommendations...and I agree. Its more about principals, sub package (knowing your assignments in an array of d-schemes) and ideology. It takes a smart player...and a talented. Its seems like a guiding thought from Golston is today's player you kinda need speed and versatility in that front 7...not really about 3-4, 4-3. More Athletic, Fast over Big, Strong. |
