Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
So it’s fair to say that by giving up with 5 minutes to go .. that every single player out there is being disrespected.. if I were a player I would go to RR and demand a legit reason for this line of thinking and if coach told me it’s to protect from injuries then I would look him in the eye and say what about my career and my risk being out there and you the head coach are giving up ...
I was a huge supporter of the Hire but now I believe that Ron should take a leave and deal with his health issues and JDR should step into head coach role .. Down 11 with 5 minutes to go and let the clock run out ??? In a pro league that’s unacceptable.. you will lose the team quick this way .. I predicted a 2 -14 season and it’s looking damn good chance that’s where we are headed .. it’s even worse than I thought it would be ..now the head coach is a issue .. I pray for RR to be healthy and his health is more important than his job situation.. take care of that first ! There are a lot of people who are saying the treatment he is receiving (chemotherapy) can have bad side effects that cloud your thinking .. experts agree to this .. something is wrong .. |
I dont care what the numbers say, our D gave up 34 points to the freakin Browns. By comparison Baltimore (a real D) held them to 6, and Cincy gave up the same. Is anyone else concerned that our problem lies on both sides of the ball?
They had 1 scoring drive that went over 42yds. We had 3. I think we know where the problem lies. |
Idk Dallas may have the same record but lost two close games to two very good teams. They are a ten win team no doubt. We are going to be lucky to win 5. I don’t think we have a chance in hell to win it....
The same Dallas team that is a "superbowl contender" every year? Ok. I'll let you and all the talking heads out there ride that bandwagon...again... Fact is, they are lucky to not be 0-3. BUT, you can't beat anyone giving up 24 points off of turnovers. If that isn't cleaned up the WFT has no chance. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
I don't like this tapping out crap either. I really don't get what Ron is thinking.

24 of those points came off of turnovers. Clean that up and it's a different story. |

Yeah, that doesn't sit well with me. I don't get it all. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Guys Ron is tanking, it's so obvious. Listen to his press conferences.. He's always talking about "Well we have to get better overall and continue to grow" That is telling us all "Get over it, we will lose a lot"

He's basically telling the team I have no confidence in you and we're only going to get blown out worse if we keep trying. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
The giving up seems so at odds with how they hung in there in week one. I don’t get it. At all.

We have the Ravens and Rams. Dallas is about to run away with the division so let’s not kid ourselves. The Eagles and Giants are really bad and we are at best a notch above it. QB play is hurting us - plain and simple. We have other weaknesses too, but no team can overcome poor play at the most important position. And unless he has some surprising (to me at least) turnaround where he shows good mechanics, doesn’t overthrow open receivers with some frequency, and doesn’t broadcast his throws, our fortunes will not improve. His INTs were awful - clean pocket, not tipped at the line or bobbled by receivers - they were just terrible throws. I know he has great arm strength and see the flashes of great throws too, but the negatives are large and hard to overlook. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Landon Collins is terrible. What a waste of money.
