Of the names remaining on this list, Admirals is the only one that I think is decent. The others just don't do it for me, although it would be a little weird considering that we had a General Washington but not an Admiral Washington. Maybe the new stadium will be in Annapolis. In fact, Washington was going to be in the Navy -- the British Royal Navy -- when he was younger but it didn't happen. Generals or Commanders would appear to be more historically accurate. If that matters at all.

I don't mind Admirals i just don't envision DC as a Naval town. Commanders kind of covers all aspects of the military where admiral is specific to the Navy.


Annapolis Admirals would be killer where as the Lexington Midshipman is a bit confusing. If you follow me.

Watching the video again I'm counting three helmets, Burgundy w/ yellow mask, Burgundy w/Burgundy mask and black on black. Also the logo appears as if it is in a circle with a W in the middle.

Now that Snyder bought out the minority owners (with a loan from the NFL) .. why cant he just say "screw it, I change my mind .. we're going by 'Skins, suck my little tiny dick."

There are no good names. Ive spent many hours researching and trying to think of a cool name and there is nothing that works for Washington ... except for Warriors.

There is no good name. It doesnt exist. The internet is an ingenious place and they have come up with nothing.

Commanders .. Defenders .... they all miss the mark.

i just don't understand why we can't use redwolves, there is the Arizona cardinals and the st louis cardinals.

timberwolves is different then redwolves.

tbf every name misses the mark, until it doesn't. This team isn't going to be complete until it actually finds success on the field and the fans can get behind it.
