You don't have to "miss a check" to be economically impacted by COVID. I've been employed full-time but they didn't give raises this year and cut off overtime. I've definitely lost out on more than 2K this year and it's noticed. When you're middle class, every dollar counts.

Fuck these politicians, this bill is garbage. We get peanuts while billions is spent on shit that has nothing to do with COVID relief.

Note - I've still been fortunate and I'm very thankful for that.
My performance and cost-of-living raises were both eliminated this year, I did the math and it would've been about 1800. So yeah, I'd love that 2k to replace what I lost this year as a local gov't employee.

Gonna be pretty funny if McConnell helps Republicans lose the senate in GA, then congress eventually passes the $2K, and millions of Americans still get the extra $1400, while Turtle is still in the Senate.

Bills fans (or at least some) don't want Cuomo at playoff game.

Just a guess but I imagine it is close to a 45%-55% split? IMO Cuomo needs to practice what he preaches. What's good for the gander is good for the goose.

Not a fan of this idea in fact I think it is bad. Maybe in two weeks we will be more stream lined but doubt it.

California will let people die from COVID for the sake of "equity". So an older white person that is way more susceptible to dying from COVID might have to wait for a way less likely non-white younger person to die from COVID, to get the vaccine 1st. Equity! Fuck your life, you privileged son of a bitch. Let's fix racism by killing people.

Mom - I know you busted your ass your whole career being a server for banquets at Hilton hotels and you have COPD (she has never smoked a cigarette), but you're white, sorry. You have zero equity points available. Go fuck yourself.

I have volunteered to go last in the whole country for this vaccine, so this isn't about me trying to get my shot faster. It's just fucking epic dumb fuckery in my home state.

Need to go ahead and place this here before the left does there best to rewrite history they don’t like.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/bidens-false-narrative-im-the-hero-on-vaccines-not-trump-media-uncritically-agrees

To make this seem like it will be Biden’s accomplishment, CNN has now reported that administration officials are claiming they inherited “no coronavirus vaccine distribution plan to speak of from the Trump administration.” Nowhere in the article does CNN acknowledge that more than 17 million vaccines have already been administered and that nearly one million vaccines are already being administered per day.

CNN’s claim that Biden inherited no vaccine distribution plan is also demonstrably false, considering the fact that 36 million vaccines have already been distributed to states and the distribution strategy is publicly available.

Administration of the vaccine has already increased since it was first made available. Bloomberg has a vaccine tracker that shows an average of 912,497 doses per day were administered last week.

Maryland Gov. Hogan calls on schools to bring students back to classrooms by March

Like I’ve continued to say since last summer, there is no science behind keeping kids out of in person learning. Studies have shown since last summer there is no community spread of coronavirus from in person school teacher.

Get in the classrooms now!

California now ranks dead last in administering COVID-19 vaccines

Governor Blackface here in Va 48th. What a fucking disgrace. We have vaccinations sitting here doing nothing.

This week, the 49th, 48th and 47th ranked states in order are Minnesota (39.8%), Virginia (40.2%) and Alabama (41.1%).

Re: Coronavirus (political)

“There is nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in the next several months”

President Biden. Hmm that’s not what he promised on the campaign trail

A mask challenge...psssshh not a plan, as most Americans have been doing this regularly

Vaccine delivered by trump which had avg 920,00 vaccination a day in the ten days leading up to Biden first day. 100 million vaccines in first 100 days= essentially the same thing trump was delivering...

One of Biden administration first lies was trump had no plan...”start from scratch”. Fauci immediately contradicted Biden and blew that lie out the water in interviews after the president had stated it with the vaccine stats above, context of how we are out move faster than other countries and the plan has been posted for months on the federal health and human services department for months.
