I never had the opportunity to see G'N'R live with the original members. Kudos to those who were lucky enough. It was sometimes a crap shoot whether if you'd get to see them or not. Either they were two hours late, or Rose would get pissed off at someone in the audience and end the concert early, or they just wouldn't even show up. For a band that has such a unique sound, they sure know how to piss people off!

Metallica is my all time favorite band, although I think they are starting to head into their twilight. Glad they went back to their roots on Death Magnetic, but they always seem to have to do something to screw something up. Either poor mastering of DM, or whatever the frack they did with St. Anger. I commend them on always trying to reinvent themselves, but at the same time, you have to realize that sometimes, your art is just straight up shit! I can say that as a Metallica fan and admit that not everything they put out was gold.

Listening to the new Ty Segall album "Emotional Mugger". This guy just puts out some of the best rock albums and does it at an amazing pace.

This cover of The Sound of Silence by Disturbed is actually pretty good, I'm glad to see this band that I haven't really enjoyed since their first 2 c.d.'s step outside their comfort zone.
