Mirrors what I've heard on Orton and Flynn. Have been hearing mixed on PM, but mostly that Mikes not a huge fan of the idea. Though I think Kyle is.

My opinion is go for it. I'll explain more in my acrylic painting
I need you to tell me that RGIII wilk be a Redskin. Tell me it's ok to go ahead and buy the jersey.

Yes please do. It seems everytime I buy a jersey the team gets rid of them. Maybe if you get yours early the team will pass on him.
Look guys, I appreciate that there are lots of its and buts here and the jury on whether he is fit is still out and there would be few guarantees anyway. But to go from Rex to Peyton is a huge upturn. And there are no knock on effects come the draft.

Manning....Bowe....Reiff....Foles/Weeden (Round 2). Add that to Helu, Davis, Hankerson etc.

Sudenly we don't look so bad on offense......
Where you from bud?

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search

As much as I'd love to keep our #6 overall pick, future picks, and players like orakpo and fill our qb need with signing manning, I can't think of any reason he would want to come here vs teams like Miami, Houston, and Arizona, and San Francisco. Those are all warm weather/stadium teams with much better talent on offense and defense AND coaching staffs who would let manning be manning.

LOL - If we pick up Manning or Flynn, I don't think we trade up for RGiii - he'll have to fall to #6.

Good news is we'll know before the draft. :silly:
Dalton was always slated as a 2nd rounder. The senior bowl just sealed it.
I couldn't help my self....
That may be true, but avid game-tape watcher Greg Cosell of NFL Films doesn’t buy Dalton as more than a middle-round talent.
Just to show I was in Dalton's corner from the jump, but I made a huge mistake... I didn't think he would be 1st round talent and figured we could get him in the 2nd round.

I've learned from my mistake which is why I'm saying "IF" Weeden is the guy the coaching staff is looking at to draft then don't wait and hope he's there in the 2nd round, take him at #6 and not have to worry about him getting picked up by someone else. and yes I'm lobbying for Weeden this year.

What is matt moore's situation? If we want a veteran and rookie (like kirk cousins or any others that need time) he would be a good option. I mean he turned Miami around. He won them some games. I like him better than Orton.

I'm sorry to let you down. How is this write up any better?
On Dalton: McShay has concerns about his size (6-foot-1) and ability to throw consistently in the "intermediate and vertical" areas of the field. But, he believes Dalton is worthy of a third or fourth-round pick because he could be brought along on the cheap and turned into a solid backup or even an adequate starter.
We have a lot of geniuses around here, including myself who related Cam to Vince Young.
